Ran a 10k and this sleeve provided great compression and my calf was pain free throughout the run and after. The first thing I noticed while wearing them was that I kept checking to make sure I had them on. Some "sleeves" I have tried in the past would slide down, making them very uncomfortable to wear after a while. There is non-slip texture inside the top edge of the sleeve which helps greatly stay in place. I only needed one and got a pair for less than the price of many single calf sleeves, now I can keep one at home and one in my gym bag. I highly recommend these sleeves.

Won't strangle your leg
I have varicose veins in my left leg only. The compression hose I have used are too tight even in larger size and lower compression numbers. I wear these on both legs. Very comfortable and not itchy on my skin, plus they stay put. I will be buying more. Be sure to wash them in the bag included cold water no dryer

GREAT COMPRESSION SOCKS!
I ordered these for my mother-in-law who has had some calf swelling issues within the last several months. She said that when she worked, she would wear compression hose, but the brand she bought them from went out of business. When I saw these available, I scooped them up and brought them to her today. Already, she can tell a difference in her legs and the way she feels. They are tight, but not overly uncomfortable. Also, I think they run slightly on the small side.

Multipurpose Use
I use this for three purposes, I have loss the fuction of many nerves in my right leg causing some cold and odd blood circulation from my knee down, I use orthotics with foot drop. With use of orthotics wearing long diabetic socks help but fiting into shoes is hard on the nerves in my feet and iften the circulation is bad without compression socks. this solves all problems. I can wear any sock, compress my calf, and support the brackets of my orthotic without causing blisters on my skin.

No Compression- I would not recommend these.
I would not recommend these- unless your a non-serious runner and just want them for the looks. They have little or no compression. One thing with Amazon is that you never know if you'll have to pay shipping to send stuff back. I had to pay $4 to send them back- what a waste. I'll buy something from a local store where I can see and feel the quality.

Good fit occasional wear
The compression doesn't feel like 20/30, but unable to go to a smaller size as the ankle band fits tight. Overall they are fine for the occasion days I wear them. I wear compression socks due to varicose vein surgery and do not have problems with swelling. I would not recommend these for people who do have swelling as the ankle band will constrict. Talk to your Doctor before buying.

In my regular rotation...
I love these and love the compression. I rotate them about every other day (I try to let them air out so I'm not washing them all the time). They stay up on my calves and don't move around at all. My legs feel great at the end of the day -- not as sore or swollen. My only disappointment is they pulled apart just a tad at the main seam. But, they still work great and I'll continue to wear them regularly...
