I had a pipe break in my basement/ crawlspace. No matter how much I cleaned and dried everything it was still muggy down there. There is little ventilation so it was taking forever to air out. There has always been a mild mildew smell down there. I put 3 of these in the basement after the pipe fiasco. They worked quickly to get rid of the high humidity. The mildew smell is now gone. It took about 2 months for the damp rid buckets to fill with water. Now I leave 2 in the basement to keep the mildew smell away and the humidity low.

I have these in my workshop and they smell great. I just put them in today do the humidity is still high, but they've worked in the past. I'm just impressed about the smell so far
