Excellent waist-cincher; well made of quality fabric + firm compression & support...
I am really liking this shaper -- it is almost as if it was designed just for me (as long as I go up a size, that is). It is referred to in the title and description as a faja, but also as a cinturilla/waist-cincher which seems more accurate. I wear some type of shape-wear pretty much every day, except on the hottest days of summer. So I like to have different styles to choose from depending what clothes I plan to wear. I have several waist trainers but this one is by far the most structured as well as the most supportive and shaping. It is very well designed and I like the fact that the back is contoured for the most comfortable fit, even when seated. In the back the cincher covers the band of my bra completely but only extends down to the upper hip before curving back in at the sides to the front. In front, the cincher extends from just above the cups of my bra to very low on the abdomen, but still above the crease between legs so I get full coverage and support, and there is no bulging anywhere. As promised, it does help boost my bust a bit. I wear a size 14, but I am unfortunately rather apple-shaped, so I am used to going up a size when I order shapers. Thank goodness I did that this time, or I would never have been able to get into this waist-cincher. The description states that this fits hour-glass and pear shaped figures best, so I imagine most women without my problem would be fine ordering their regular size. The fabric is of very high quality and has excellent elasticity with limited stretch and strong recoil. The front closure feels very sturdy with strong, well-anchored metal hook & eye fasteners. They are positioned more closely together than other shapers of this type that I have (a very good thing) and there are three columns of eyes for each hook so I can customize the fit -- although right now I can only get this on using the 3rd eye. And that is a bit of a struggle. I start at the top and fasten every other hook & eye and then go back and do up the rest. Once on, there are no gaps or puckers down the front, and I am very happy with the strong compression and firm support. This pulls everything in and flattens my abdomen and gives me a smooth, sleek look everywhere else. There is substantial boning and each one extends the full length of the shaper and is very strong but they have some flexibility so they are not uncomfortable and don't get bent out of shape. So, there is no possibility of this waist-cincher folding over or rolling down from the top. Similarly, there is no rolling up from the bottom. The boning also helps my posture, too. The cincher stays perfectly in place all day but it is true that the bones/stays will be visible under some clothes (very light-weight woven fabrics or thin, close-fitting knits). When I placed my order, I didn't see how this would provide any lift for my rear (and it doesn't) but that is okay with me as that really isn't my main area of concern, and I am more than happy with what this shaper does do for me. I look and feel as if I am wearing a full body shaper (most of them don't do anything for my rear, either). But there are no shoulder straps to deal with, no built-in briefs or shorts to cut into my legs and no problem with trips to the restroom. And the inner face of the fabric is soft against my skin + I don't feel too hot or suffocated. I like the cocoa color, too! This waist trainer is designed in the USA and made in Columbia, where they certainly seem to know how to make the best shape-wear! This is a bit pricier than some of my shapers, but the quality, durability and fit definitely make it worth the cost. I know I will be buying from this brand again.

Size Up
I needed to go at least one size up. I can't get it to close for me. I am typically an XL so that's what I ordered and it seemed right at the time, but after taking a second look at the measurements on the size chart etc. I definitely could have gone up a size, maybe two. The shaper itself is very sturdy. I love the color as well. I'm in the process of losing weight, so I think once I lose a few more pounds it will likely work for me, and since I can't really say if the sizing issue was my fault or because it's truly smaller than TTS, I only took off one star. If I lose a little weight and find that it's not comfortable or falls apart (doubt it will), I will update my review.

Sturdier than my emotional state
Authentic review incoming! I hope it's helpful. (And if this is too long to read, scroll down to the pro tip!)You're welcome for:A) Squashing myself into this so I could include photos, andB) Taking said photos with the shapewear OVER my clothes and not in my birthday suitAlso, caveat:I recognize that I'm a relatively spindly gal and acknowledge that I'm maybe not the obvious candidate for industrial-grade shapewear. But stay tuned...It's true that I'm built like SpongeBob SquarePants—no joke, my hips, waist, and bust are basically the same size—but I'm not bothered by that. I wear my SquarePants with pride. Body positivity! Woo!HOWEVER, I have a connective tissue disorder that gives me ZERO support or "framework" for my body. I have essentially zero structure to my core, so if I drink a cup of water (let alone eat food, which I do with pleasure), people ask me when my baby is due.My answer: "Eight years ago! Thanks so much for asking!"That gets annoying, and everything hurts all the time, so I'm always looking for extra support.I know I'm a unique case that may not apply to others, but I still think I can weigh in on this shaper, because I've tried many kinds. This thing is LEGIT. It is really, really sturdy. I'm 5'6" and 135-140 with the aforementioned square shape and I opted for a medium, but wooooooo doggy, I broke a sweat getting into the loosest hooks on this!PRO TIP: If this is too tricky to get on, lie down if need be, and don't try to hook them consecutively. Hook the top, then the bottom, then one out in the middle, and then keep hooking the one in the middle of the largest gap until you get them all done. MUCH easier!I instantly felt supported but not so constricted that I couldn't breathe. I really liked the three-hook style so I can cinch parts of it wider or narrower as needed. The material feels nice and comfortable and it doesn't roll down. It honestly feels like a back brace AND extra support for my abdomen. I can't say that it made me look sn*tched, but I didn't really expect that.Overall, definitely recommended. One (minor) complaint is that I can't begin to imagine why they claim that this is a "butt lifter" because there is literally nothing about it that would even touch, let alone lift, your hind end, unless I'm really missing something (it's possible that what I'm missing is, in fact, a butt.)
