By doing so, PostureFit keeps your spine in healthy alignment to help eliminate lower back pain. The Classic Aeron PostureFit Support Kit is recommended for people who sit up straight in their chair to perform tasks. It is compatible with all sizes (A, B, or C) of Classic Aeron Chair and Classic Aeron Stools, provided the chair has a Tilt Limiter option. To identify whether your Classic Aeron has a Tilt Limiter, reach down with your left hand while sitting in the chair; if you locate one or two levers attached to the chair’s tilt mechanism, your Classic Aeron has a Tilt Limiter. To find the size of an Classic Aeron Chair, stand behind the chair and feel for the raised dots under the top edge of the back frame. One dot is Small size, two dots in a row is Medium size, three dots in a triangle is Large size. Care & Maintenance: For normal cleaning, wash plastic surfaces with a soft cloth soaked in mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use solvents or abrasive kitchen cleaners.

Great product
The foam lumbar cushion that originally came with my Aeron chair cracked and I wanted to replace it with the more aesthetic support kit, but my usual store asked for the serial number of my chair and told me that my chair was an older type that wouldn't take the kit. Still, I went ahead and ordered it, and although the fit is probably tighter than intended, I was still able to install it on my chair with no problem.The new kit provides much better support than the old foam lumbar cushion. I had to constantly adjust the position of the lumbar cushion because it would cut into my back and become uncomfortable. On the other hand, the new kit presents a much larger supporting surface and its tension can be adjusted with a lever. As a result, the chair is comfortable even during extended use.Conclusion: It's a wonderful upgrade well worth the price, and it looks great too.

Improvement over standard lumbar support
This attachment is an improvement over the standard lumbar support. It supports the sacro area and counteracts the feeling of falling back into a hole and trying to climb out which is what I get with the standard Aeron chair. It was fairly easy to install myself without having to call our facilities maintenance dept. The exact size screwdriver required for your model is listed on the directions. Take care when ordering that you get the right size PostureFit. It's not well known that the chairs come in A, B, and C sizes and most companies only get B. Instructions for finding your chair size are easily found on the web.
