This shampoo works great. The lather rinses clean and the shine it gives your hair is awesome. Also adds some texture to hair to make it easier to style.

My hair is relatively dry and have been using different shampoos to try and find a permanent one. Tried over 15 shampoos to no success. I was skeptical about this shampoo because of the price for 12 oz of shampoo but after 3 or 4 washes my hair hasn’t been dry and I feel rejuvenated afterwards. Definitely recommend.

It does a really good job of cleaning and making my hair feel nice all day long. It has a pleasant smell while actually washing your hair but has little or no residual scent after rinsing. I was really hoping it had a lasting scent.

I’ve been on a whole body health journey to figure out what products and food are good and bad for us. This shampoo checks all the boxes that I was looking for in a product that wouldn’t do more harm than good to my hair. I had shifted from mainstream brands to begin with, but still noticed poor hair health. I made the switch to Based and within days of regular use, I could feel a difference. My hair is at its peak health. I have wavy hair with some curl and this shampoo has accentuated my natural texture and even provided more volume. People have noticed my hair being “better” and I have never been complemented on my hair before. This product also checks the USA box. This shampoo is expensive, but it’s better than harsh chemicals making my hair fall out!

This product is marketed on TikTok (likely other platforms) with the disguise of comparative product review including other brands of shampoos. They give the audience false perception that this is a superior product because of the score given during the comparison. It's not as obvious since the score is only marginally higher but still the highest among so called competition. In reality this is an overpriced shampoo that you would find in a cheap motel bathroom. There is nothing special about it. Smell is very mediocre. Hair feels like as if it's been washed with a generic bar of soap. Doesn't properly lather. Bottle doesn't have a seal and was not full as received. $30+ for a barely full bottle of literal soap is crazy. Do not fall for this scam. If you have make sure that you return and get a refund like I did. Which is very strange that they accept returns of an open product, so no wonder the bottle has no seal.

For some reason it doesn't lather very well at all and I have yo use a lot more than any other usual shampoo. It's smells great and it feels clean.
