Battery life lasts weeks!
My favourite mouse of all time. You can just plug in and play, and there is software to help with your gaming experience. It is very light weight yet very responsive. The scroll wheel is easy to move it’s great value for money. It’s an incredible mouse whether you’re gaming or just using it casually. The charge lasts me weeks at a time.

Amazing
Having used Razer products for over a decade now, and after using this mouse for a few months now, I can comfortably say that this is an superb quality mouse and amazing for gaming. Before this I was using the Viper Ultimate which I had for about 5 years before upgrading this. The stock skates feel smooth and good, although you might have to buy custom skates depending on the type of mousepad you use so make sure to do your research, but at the same time depends on just how competitive you are at games. The most important part to consider with the mouse and any mouse would be the shape, you should ensure to do your own research online on the shape, appearance and size of the mouse to ensure that it does fit with your hand and your type of hand grip. However it is important to also state that at the time of this review, the mouse released two years ago and recently there has been significant developments made in the mouse industry, specifically haptic trigger which in high competitive play is able to provide a tangible advantage, and it wouldn't be a surprise for Razer to adopt this in a new mouse in the near future, so if you aren't desperate for a new mouse right now, you could wait for it. Other than that, the price can seem a bit much for a mouse that other companies may be selling for half or a third of the price with the same or near-identical sensors and such, but at the same time you're paying for assured reliability and stability. In my personal experience at least, Razer is probably the only company so far with mice where I did not run into issues from the day of purchasing a mouse to the day of upgrading to a different mouse.

Good but doesn’t last long
Amazing overall, sadly the battery doesn’t last as long as I was expecting it to, it doesn’t beat my keyboard, headset and all my other gear in battery life.

The best mouse I've owned
As good a gaming mouse as you can buy. Amazingly lightweight, the buttons are clicky and responsive, the speeds are customisable to the nth degree. I don't have any issues with the Synapse software and actually changed my keyboard to a Razer one so that I could run it all through that one software programme. Highly recommended.

What the Viper V3 Pro accels at is just beating the Superlight, nothing more, nothing less.
Gaming mouse enthusiast is an understatement for me, let me give you a list of the mice (I remember) testing. - Intellimouse 1.1a - Intellimouse 3.0 (original and updated) - Logitech MX510/518 - Original Deathadder - Deathadder Black Edition - Deathadder 2013 - Steelseries Rival 300 - Logitech G502 - Zowie EC1/EC2 (including the updated editions) - Logitech G403 (including modding it to remove the magnet and attaching a paracord to make it feel 'wireless') - Finalmouse Air58 - Logitech GPX Superlight - Deathadder v3 Pro - Finalmouse UltralightX Tiger Now the Viper v3 pro compared to GPXUL(2) It fits most grip types, it's lighter, Razer even added sensor rotation, polling rate beats the GPXUL2's 2000hz polling rate. The battery life seems to last forever even at 8k HZ (yes 8k, but do not use that if you have a slow PC) I game for a few hours, and sometimes forget to charge, but the mouse turns off when idle. The dongle signal is ok, you have to keep it relatively close to your mouse but that isn't exclusive to Razer. The mouse is a decent size, and weighs about 55grams - I've never really noticed coating, I'm sure some of the mice from my list have had comments on their coating, the only one I really felt hard to grip was the G502, and that was probably because it felt a bit too small for my grip, causing hand cramps to compensate. Overall I would say this is the second best "safe shape" mouse you can get, losing only to the Finalmouses latest range, and I say that purely because, I just feel that +17g weight difference, if I never tried the finalmouse, I would be blown away by this.

Worthwhile purchase if you're an avid gamer
I decided to try this mouse after hearing all the hype around Razer products recently, and I must say, I’m thoroughly impressed. Having used the G Pro 1 and 2 before, I always found the mouse buttons on those models to be a bit too small for my liking. However, the Viper series feels just right, with buttons that are perfectly sized and responsive with no spongy feel at all. The mouse comes with a robust USB-A to USB-C braided cable, which not only charges the mouse but also connects seamlessly to the wireless dongle when needed. The transition between wired and wireless modes is effortless, making the experience incredibly convenient. Overall, I’m extremely pleased with the quality, functionality, and how straightforward it was to set up. Definitely a worthwhile purchase!
