Grooved Pegboard for Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy and Occupational Tharepy, Dexterity Test to Improve Visual Motor Coordination & Finger Dexterity

Almost identical to the one I used in PT! I got this to practice with my post operative hand. I had been struggling with this in PT, so I got my own! I did have to reapply glue under the metal plate, but that was easily done! My grandson enjoys beating my time!😂

We use this test for hiring personal. Great for testing someone’s agility with their hands .

I really loved using one of these at OT and wanted one to use at home. Many of those offered are really expensive! For the price of this one, I wasn't sure if it would measure up to the one at the OT location, but aside from having a plastic base it is just the same! These are so much better for your dexterity that the cheaper ones with simple round posts. I would highly recommend this model!

Perfect for OT

I am reviewing Grooved Pegboard for Rehabilitation, Physical Therapy and Occupational Tharepy, Dexterity Test to Improve Visual Motor Coordination & Finger Dexterity This device is a bit simplistic for the value. It is heavy. It has a metal slide to store the pegs in the top compartment. The slide and the pegs are a bit raw. It's a simple metal panel with cutouts oriented in different directions. There is a pamphlet that roughly explains the results for different age groups/sex. I ordered it to help my loved one with dementia to try to regain some lost manual and mental dexterity. Unfortunately, he is past this point. I used it myself just to see how I score. I'm satisfied that I'm still good. I am going to make a gift of this to our neurologist, next visit.

Occupational therapist recommended the grooved peg board for helping with dexterity. I use C it with both hands individually trying to place the pins in correct positioning which is difficult for me. Hopefully over time I’ll speed up the process with both hands
