Hello. Each color has a separate number. You cannot buy just one bottle of a particular number. I hoped this helped a little. It is a beautiful set.

Yes you need a light to cure the gel polish to your nails.

Q: Do mefa polish colors suit any skin tone? are they neutral?

They have many colors available. I have ordered multiple times with any assortment of colors. I would say it suits all skin tones.

Q: If i wanted to do a pattern on a nail. like if i did a coat of polish, then wanted to do a pattern with another color, how do i do that with curing?

It depends on what you'd trying to do. If you're talking about nail art (drawing a flower or marbeling) then you'd cure your base color then mix your art colors separately and apply them on top of your cured (and top coated) nails. If your talking more bleed through and such, (like when I make ocean scenes) then you would paint your colors on the nail and blend them with a brush or dotter appropriate for the type of blending you'd like to do. (Side note: if your looking to stamp, make sure you wipe your top coated cured nails with rubbing alcohol BEFORE you stamp. I know this set says it's wipe free, but trust me, you need to wipe before using a stamp, even with this set.)
