The umbrella design fits my front window perfectly, covering every inch and leaving no gaps for sunlight to sneak through. These products are pretty popular these days and it's a challenge to find a good one for a decent price. This IKENKO Sun Shade Umbrella is very lightweight and comes with its' own sheath to place it in when not being used. It opens up with ease and has good coverage on all sides.Best parts are the highly reflective skin on the outward facing side and the V-cutout for your rearview mirror with connecting strap. Opening it up in my car was awkward at first but you get used to it and can emplace it very fast after a couple of times. If you have a dash cam, it may interfere with it, I have one, but luckily its located right where the cutout portion is for the rearview mirror.This product does really work, after sitting in the sun all morning on a humid day this week, I could tell the difference when getting in the vehicle compared to when I didn't use it. Huge difference in how warm the dash, steering wheel, and leather seats would normally have been. It closes quickly and you can have it folded up and put away in less than 10 seconds.It could have been a bit more durable, I am already starting to have to push some of the arms into their extended positions as they may be loosing some of there strength. Also be very careful when emplacing it and closing it up, you can scratch your dash, especially if is really hot out and leave a non-fixable mark from the corners and points of the metal arms. I'm giving it four stars because it really works well, has a good price point, and is portable and decent quality. I took one star for not being very durable, and the hard points on the end of the arms that may mark your dash if you aren't careful.

Its good windshield for car as well as an umbrella that we can use during hot weather. I liked it and recommend others to buy!

Fits great

We have a midsized SUV and this was still quite the pain, every time, to get up and installed in our window. Once up, it works great and we really notice a difference in the car temperature when the car is out in the hot sun. This helps a lot where we have kids.Folding this back up can be a bit of a pain as well, just tough and rigid. Once folded, it looks like a small umbrella; but we would not recommend putting it back in the protective sleeve it comes with. The sleeve is more of a one time use than it is a longer term one.

I like the idea but it just does work as well as I hoped. I'm using it a car, an SUV maybe a different story. If I open it the car and placing it is really fiddly and cumbersome. I have doubts about the arms and material lasting with daily opening and closings. I do have a vehicle that only gets used once or twice a week, I'll use it that one.

Wow. So this thing works! It’s hot here in AZ.. it’s May and already in the mid 90s and steadily climbing. I drive a black SUV with leather interior (in my defense my husband is a marine and we didn’t live on the surface of the sun when we bought it! lol) the combo of black exterior and leather interior makes summer painful in this car, especially if you make the mistake of wearing shorts or a dress! And the steering wheel? Forget it. We had one of those flimsy, ridiculous under the mirror things that you wrestle with and need to get *just right* or it falls.. my son mentioned his friend had “an umbrella sunshade thing” and said he bought it here. We searched and sound this one, I ordered it immediately and it came the next day. I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it goes into the window and actually stays there.. but most of all I was SHOCKED my car was not hot! It was tolerable to touch the steering wheel! Whaaaat?! Praise the Lord! I am getting one of these for my husband, my sons and my in-laws cars! This is an awesome find!
