Mellotone Tweed Amplifier & Speaker Cabinet Covering Olive/Yellow Yard 64" Wide

This is Tweed Cabinet - CLOTH.It's not the Tolex style material, it is actual woven fiber with a "lacquered" exterior coating which is not tolex.This is not Grill cloth either, it is cabinet cloth.The coating may, or may not be actual lacquer, but is tinted to simulate the amber color tone of a somewhat aged tweed that has been sealed.The actual fibers (on the backside) are white and brown, the amber coating pushes the exterior color of the fabric to an amber and OD/brown-ish tone.The fabric is very durable in nature, the coating makes it somewhat ridgid, but not like the old iron-on denim patches (if you are old enough to remember those).Good material, will purchase again!

Product has a dense backing that is not suitable for full frequency speakers. Reduces upper mids and highs dramatically. I was refurbishing an old stereo console and wanted a classic fabric for grill cloth to hide my B&W bookshelf speakers. I never installed, cut or in any way altered the material, but was still told I could not return. They mentioned that they do not take returns on cabinet covering and suggested I resell it on their tech talk section of their website (I assume at a substantial discount). Overall poor experience with Parts Express. I will a avoid them in the future.

really nice material and matched my amp perfect. I built a matching pedal board and covered it with this material. Looks fantastic and made me play guitar like Van Halen. This stuff is amazing.
