Bought a couple of these for some tactical scopes that sit really close to the charging handles. It brings the scope up away from the charging handles. The rise isn't enough to make shooting awkward, or uncomfortable. Locks solid into place, and return to zero is perfect if you remove, and re-install.

I used this riser in an unconventional way to move my forearm pistol grip back on the forearm by mounting the riser upside down on the forward picatinny rail. I then mounted my picatinny pistol grip on the upside down riser. It positioned it perfectly and provides a little stand-off from the forearm as well.

The clamps fell apart. Very cheaply made. I fixed the broken champ with rubber cement and some small rubber discs to keep the small cylindrical rivet from falling out. But I likely will not trust this to hold my expensive optics.

No complaints, everything as advertised. Good, solid construction with secure mounting, once properly tightened. The large thumb screws with deep gnarling lets you preform quick attach/detach of the rail. No complaints!
