I bought it for a holiday next year. Very useful idea, to bring with with me on the holiday. Hopefully won't take too much space in the suitcase. The quality looks great. It is very easy to attach to the ceiling, all you need come along with the net. I like the special bag fitting everything inside.

I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. I ordered this mosquito net with a view to taking it on holiday, and my first impressions were good: it comes in a neat zipped circular bag some 18" in diameter, no problem I putting it in a suitcase, and it weighs almost nothing: very lightweight.Of course, for this to operate properly, you need to have a hook in the ceiling: a hook and wallplug are supplied, though I don't know what your rented accommodation will think about you drilling holes in their ceiling (should have thought of that!). Change of plans: consider home use, to keep the midges away at night.For the price, you get a decent enough net, fixings and a carry bag. The circular top frame comes folded and springs out of the bag: I could not work out how to get it back in - there's not a lot by the way of instructions.The net is easily big enough to cover a double bed......which brought to mind another problem: only one entry/ exit point. If there's two of you in bed and one of you wants to get up in the night...….well, it could all get a bit silly.I'm giving this product four stars: you get what they say you get, it seems reasonable enough quality, and once set up it would probably do the job intended. I dropped one star as I think there should be more/clearer instructions and the idea of a double-bedded item only having one way in or out just isn't well thought out enough.However, if you are looking for bed netting, whether for keeping the mosquito's at bay or as a decorative feature (it does look quite nice in a Hemmingway/romantic way..) then this one currently retailing at £17.58 offers good value for money.

We don't have a mosquito problem, but sometimes in the summer we tend to get a few wasps in the attic bedroom, especially if the windows are open due to the heat. This net will mean our guests can leave the windows open all the time without fear of getting stung.It was easy to put up and easy to arrange around the bed. The only slight problem was the length, as we had to instal the hook on the ceiling in a slightly lower position due to the nature of the room, but it does mean that the little blighters can't get under the bed.It's made of polyester and easy to clean. If you wanted a different colour, you could probably dye it to match your décor, but the traditional white colour is fine and not intrusive at all.We’ve installed it on a 4 foot bed. I have to wonder how easy it would be to use on a double bed with two people, as there is only one zip – a bit of clambering in and out, I suppose.Usefully, it comes in a round lightweight bag; if you take it camping, it should all fit together back in the bag for easy transport.

I ordered this for decorative design.My daughter has a black one over her bed and I love how it looks changed entire look and style of bed for very little cost.This fits over my double bed easily and I think looks great, we have a Moroccan feel with mustard and red colour scheme,lots of cushions and accessories.So fits into style nicely.Would also look good in feminine room,giving bed princess look. It was very simple to hang simple wall plug and hook into ceiling, it’s very lightweight.The net closes and opens with full length zips and comes with carry bag.So if you did want to use as protective net is very compact and lightweight to carry and would hang from simple hook.I used wall plug as knew would be there long term.I have open and tied back at moment but living near a forest we get a lot of midges and flies in summer so will be interesting to see if can protect again them? The net certainly looks fine enough to stop even midges.You can get cheaper but this is good quality so I do recommend.My only negative is that one of zips was a little stiff and edging was a little tight in one corner but they are minor faults and zip was resolved with spray WD40 and edging is unnoticeable unless looking close

Being bitten by mosquitos is all too common in certain countries and as well as being unpleasant it can be dangerous - you can't be too safe. So if you are travelling somewhere where you think you might be at risk, a mosquito net is essential. This one is excellent as it has a small mesh but it strong and lightweight. It has not been sprayed either so you will not be breathing in toxic chemicals while you sleep.If the place you are staying advertises mosquito nets in every room, it is worth bringing your own. Quality control is not always what is should be - I have known of nets with holes, tears and others that look and smell in a bad way. This net is easy to fit and takes a few minutes - it's worth it, do it as soon as you check in because late at night when you are tired you may decide to leave it! This is a very well made net with a full length zipper and is a universal fit. Highly recommended.
