Great Story & Great Quality Paperback
I'm reading this to my first-grade students. The story is great for introducing safety on the internet. I was disappointed that it was only available in paperback, but this is superior quality. The paper is high quality, the pages are stitched into place, and the cover is also a higher end for a paperback. I'm so pleased with this book that I'm going to buy the others in this series.

So so
Quality and shipping A+. Story B. I bought this to help supplement my technology lessons in a k-4 school. If you just read and donโt put to Much thought into the story itโs great, but if youโre doing more in depth lessons for things like internet safety this isnโt the best story out there. I think for my littles (k-1) itโs a good introduction to the basics of internet safety lesson, but def not for my older kids.

Very cute book about online safety but beware that prek and kindergarten students did not make the connection from the fox to his disguise without help.

Wonderful
Chicken Clicking was a great book to teach students about Internet Safety. The book was a hit with students! The loved all the items the Chicken bought from the Farmer's computer. After reading the book, students talked about the many things the Chicken did incorrectly when it comes to Internet usage. We ended the lesson by coming up with prices for all the items the Chicken bought and then a Total. The students loved it!

Funny but great topic
I use this book to teach digital citizenship and the kids get a kick out of it.

No clear consequences for kids
The book is cute and has a great premise but there is no actual moral to the story! It is written in a way that there are heavy implications about what the chick should and shouldn't be doing, but it is not direct, which is what a book at this reading level should be. The consequences are not clearly defined for the chicken whenever they do these bad or dangerous acts and it is a very confusing read overall. Needs a few extra pages.

Great book for younger students to encourage them to think about what they arenโt doing online. Great starting point for a lesson even with preteens.

This story is about internet safety and is appealing to all ages. The little chicken is quite endearing and the reader is hoping for a happy ending! The illustrations are perfect.

Brilliant! Finally a book aimed at infants rather than juniors about safety online. Highly entertaining as Jeanne Willis always is, but with a serious message. Lots of scope for discussion. Love the ending.

I purchased this book for the Children's Centres I manage across a wide area and staff are using them to inform and educate families with children under 5 about online safety. This book is proving to be a very beneficial resource both for Practitioners and families alike

I used it for a FS through year 6 whole school assembly. A great e-safety resource that can build in personal safety work with young children whilst still accessible and relevant for the older children on a primary setting.
