AltroCare 3-in-1 Hip Shrinker for Sacroiliac Support, Postpartum Back Support.
The Postpartum/ Sacroiliac Belt will provide snug support for your hip joints. I wish I had one of these after giving childbirth! I injured my hip a couple of weeks ago and found this belt. I had immediate relief once I learned how to use this correctly; there are many YouTube videos with helpful tips. I found I was using it too low and tight, which created sore muscles. This belt is well made, very comfortable, comforting, and breathable. If you fold over the three velcro ends before trying to put the belt on, you will prevent the velcro from constantly sticking where you don't want it to, which was very frustrating for me at first. I'm still determining how long the belt will last, since every time you take off the velcro, it pulls at the fabric; mine has really fluffed up where I attach it, as you can see in the picture; this is from 7 days of use. At such a great price, I will still be recommending this belt to friends.

May be helpful while healing SI joint, even better with cold pack
The quality of the fabric and velcro closures of this SI belt is adequate for short term use, perhaps around 3 or 4 months. The under belt measures nearly 4'. The material is very stretchy and itchy and best worn over shorts/pants, not leggings. I'm on the small side and can easily wrap the ends of the belt around to each hip. The over belt straps can then be pulled forward and taut to provide the needed hip support. I'm using this belt to help stabilize my SI joint along with physical therapy core strengthening exercises while recovering from a recent injury. This belt did not stop the pain but did stop it from getting worse, especially noticeable at the end of the day. The one thing I really like about this belt is the stretchiness which allows me to use it with a cold pack. I have both round and rectangular shaped palm size cold packs each stored in old thin socks in the freezer. I slip the cold pack sock inside my shorts over the painful spot with the sock cuff draped over my short's waistband. The SI joint waistband holds the cold pack in place. Immediate relief.

Not for 1x Woman
The AltroCare 3-in-1 Sacroiliac Pelvis Belt didn’t work out well for me as it’s not suited for a plus-sized body type. While it seems like it could be effective for someone with a slender tummy, I found it uncomfortable after trying to wear it for a day. It kept rolling and didn’t stay in place, so I’d definitely recommend wearing it over clothing. The belt is nicely built and easy to put on, but I wonder if it would work better if it were at least 2 inches wider to stay on properly.

Works super well!
I'm really glad I came across the Altrocare belt. It provides significant support to my lower back after a recent procedure. It helps that it's lightweight but offers strong support to the areas that I need it to work. It felt very comfortable to use for long durations and did not feel too suffocating over time. Washing it is a breeze. The velcro included grips on pretty tightly, ensuring that it doesn't loosen up with activities. All in all, I think I would recommend this. I think it does a good job in supporting my lower back and giving me the extra support I need to go about my day.

Good design and I hope the material will last
This belt is really light weight and wraps around my hips well. It didn't move up or down and stayed in place the entire time wearing it. The Velcro sticks well but since the material is thin and light weight, I'm afraid that it might frail easily. So far it hasn't but only time will tell. I will report it if that happens. But so far so good and like that I hardly notice wearing it underneath my shirt. And no one else can tell that I'm wearing it either. It doesn't make my skin itch either. My hips feel supported wearing it.

Good for more than just postpartum.
This AltroCare pelvis belt is heavily marketed for postpartum women, but so far it's been nice for my sciatic pain. It keeps my lower back in check when I feel it starting to go out of whack and thus, keeps my pain from getting worse.I really like how thin and flexible this belt is. It's more comfortable than my regular back braces. Do I have to adjust this one more often? Yes, but usually when I'm bending over a few times, like when picking some stuff up off the floor. The belt slid up a little and I had to pull it back down into place. This belt is so flexible and thin though, I don't have to wrestle with it like I do with my other belts and braces when having to adjust. I recommend.

The Patch would not hold well, keeps coming off
So this would be great I was hoping for my back support and use it when lifting items and so on. However, I the quality of this Pelvis Belt is NO Good. Upon placing it in my back and trying to close it, the belt sticks but when you bend down it starts to come off and after few times, it was not worth using it as it was more annoying to keep placing it back on.

Itchy but functional
This SI band is thin and light, and easy to velcro on and adjust. It fit around my 49" hips with room to spare. The band is a thin layer with elastic, about 5 inches wide. It has 2 light layers that you pull snug around the hips to support the SI joint. Wearing this above undies/below pants was unbearable itchy, and the band crumpled easily. So wearing it above the clothes when possible would be more confortable if you are sensitive to it. You need to line up the bands closely to help with crumpling, and may have to redo the band frequently. I have a sturdier neoprene type si band that isn't itchy or crumply, but it's heavier. Trade offs...As far as function, the compression does help the SI joint in cases where gentle compression is recommended. And because it's compression, it can help reduce swelling. A useful post partum item, especially if you wore a support belt during pregnancy.
