It should work well!!
IIt looks as if it will be good for what I need it for, but as yet haven't used it. I got two different offerings in the hope they were as different as they appeared to be in the photos but alas they proved to be identical and about halfway between the two photo representations in color. I would also say that there is no detectable elasticity to it as one seller stated in their description. As I plan to sew it on as trim to the dogs coats and mine for walking dogs after dark, it will undoubtedly be better than if it had elasticity to it for that matter. I think the price was good so go for it!!
