Great book

My wife was up to her neck on Christmas day with meals so she has not had time to look at it in detail but she was impressed and loved the idea of receiving it and is looking forward to spending time with it over the next couple of weeks. It was just one of several gifts I bought her and she will decide in which order she spends time with so asking for a review is a mite impatient on your behalf.

Bought this for my partner, as they are an artist who wants to get into concept art, and they loved it.

Seriously a great book about how to pursuing a successful career in concept art but I hope you are not as lucky as me to receive it wet and wrinkled on its half.

Si realmente estás pensando en iniciar una carrera en el Concept Art, este libro es realmente útil. Te explica con todo detalle en qué consiste este tipo de trabajo y cual es su función en la industria, tanto en los videojuegos, como en el cine y la animación. No sólo tiene los típicos consejos de como preparar tu web, un CV o qué herramientas debes usar, también tiene otros apartados super interesantes cómo el de hábitos de trabajo recomendables en tu día a día, cómo aceptar las críticas, o la experiencia de otros artistas del sector y cómo es su horario cada día. Con este libro te haces muy bien a la idea de los modos de trabajar, tanto en un estudio como freelance. Una forma de ver claramente en dónde te estás metiendo, y aunque esté en inglés, se entiende estupendamente.
