Especially this blue sword, the engravings on the blade are so detailed. They seem to have upgraded their gift packaging, which made me look extra classy when giving it as a gift to a friend who's about to move. I recommend. It looks great. Feels great. Blade is sharp. Only complaint is the wood shavings on the blade when you take it out. Other than that I recommend.

As a mom of a teenager, buying Christmas gifts of his liking without him knowing is difficult. As most parents know items become more expensive and for me that means less gifts. Which I realize isn’t the meaning of Christmas but it’s a great feeling to be able to surprise him. He is a big martial arts enthusiast and responsible enough for such things. So, when I researched swords for him I found this one seemed to be a great option.The sword is beautiful, it’s a little stiff coming out of it’s protective shell (sorry I can’t remember the technical term) but it’s quality is impressive, especially for his first piece. The blade is sharp enough to cut through cardboard and aluminum, maybe sharper but have no need to further investigate.The reason I am so disappointed is because I specifically asked for the product to be sent in discrete packing, finally had something he wouldn’t know about!! So, it was supposed to be sent inside of a regular amazon box. NO DESCRIPTION! Well guess what, that didn’t happen and it even arrived in a box with a picture on the side of it. Clearly revealing it’s contents. And guess who picked up the package from the porch?! Yep, my son. I may seem like I’m ranting and maybe I am but with good reason!! Why offer the option to hide what’s inside when you don’t follow through?I guess this isn’t helpful to most as far as helping make a decision on whether or not to purchase it so I will reiterate the sword itself is simply a great purchase. But, the seller should really consider a customer request discreet packaging for a reason.
