Easy to install
For some reason, the builder put a water spout on the street side of the house. I never felt comfortable with it being there as anyone walking by could access it. This lock has put aside that concern. Also, it was easy to install and remove.

Loose, does not stay in place.
Fits loosely and locks, but does not stay in place. It may look like the bottom grips and locks in place but just flounders around.

Lock rusting
The main reason I chose this product was for the padlock, but it has already started to rust. Sigh, why provide a padlock for a water source product that rusts!

Exactly what I needed
If your like me, to many kids not enough eyeballs. I tell you it seemed like this summer every time I turned my back one of my younger kids was spraying the hose. Dumping pools filling them up over and over. Talk about a water bill. This little thing right here was a headache saver.
