Quiet and easy to use. Was a little difficult to set up initially.

Very happy with this product and the company who sells it. First, let’s talk about customer support. I received the unit but it did not appear to work as described. They helped trouble shoot and when that didn’t work, they immediately replaced the unit. It does what it is supposed to do. Given the quality of the product, I thought the price was great. I keep it right in my kitchen. It’s attractive enough to keep in view next to my stainless trash can. But must be a little further from the wall when in use, according to instructions. It grinds and dries scraps well so I don’t have to rush to take it out to the garden immediately. I don’t notice odor. In fact, I can collect it in a paper bag or box till I am ready to use it in the garden (like weekly I put it out).The only issue I have is getting the basket perfectly set in place so I can close the lid. This may just take practice. It’s not a deal breaker.Ultimately the proof will be how my garden does, so that will be a while before I can report back on that because it’s December.

Ugh. Stinks, holds very little material and must run 12 hours to get 3 oz of compost. Uses too much Power to justify use with such minimal output.

Love this device! Where has it been all my life? Works great. Easy to use once I got used to not overloading it. No more trips in the rain and mud to my compost pile. Blends perfectly in my potting soil mix!

After using this product for two months I have to stop.It does not seal 100% and the ants have found a way in. If you’re like me and don’t fill it completely every day the bugs have managed to find a way in somehow.Every morning I wake up and there are ants all around it.It seals from the top but the bugs are getting in through the bottom.It’s a great concept but if you live in a warm environment it is not worth it.For the price paid it is definitely a shame.It also uses more power than stated so that is another reason I do not want to use it everyday.The food smells that come out of it are not bad but definitely can be strong.Great concept but not a great product.

Composter was working amazing and all of a sudden it won't compost. It turns on runs for about an hour and then shuts off. When we open lid the food scraps still looks as it did when we put it in. I have only had it 7 months and have been running it about 2-3 times per week. Not sure how to reach out to seller for help with this issue. Or how to get any information on the 2 year warranty or lifetime bucket information.

I'd like to address the 1-star reviews on here which almost kept me from getting this composter. The 1-star reviews complain that it is horrible because it's difficult to replace the compost pail and lid. It's not simple but it's also not bad so long as you're not an idiot. You do have to make sure the nubs on the bottom of the compost pail match up with the notches in the machine and you have to be particular with how you put the lid back on. But it is totally doable and it probably is this way for a functional reason. I really like the amount of scraps it allows you to compost at a time. It sometimes has a vegetables cooking type smell when it's running, but it beats the heck out of stinky rotten compost.
