SME Mining Enginering Handbook, Third Edition, Volumes 1 & 2 3rd Edition

The definitive book on mining engineering and big improvement on the 2nd edition. A must for any mining practitioner.

I got only Volume 1 it’s good quality and including really good information but I paid for both books like volume 1&2 I didn’t get Volume 1 also I couldn’t reach to seller . I don’t want to money back all I need Volume 1

Very useful for engineers working in mining industry, covers many conceptual and practical problems. Came in with very good conditon, highly recommended.

Detailed oriented. Gives one a thorough knowledge about the topic.

The CRC is a good handbook, even Perry’s, but this one is... well just... I bet an intro course book would have more detail. I’d just save your money to be honest.When you get a handbook you’re supposed to have something to work with and there isn’t much here.

Both volumes arrived damaged. Packaging was highly inadequate. Very disappointed in the books' condition considering the price paid. I would expect packaging able to resist the conditions of shipping.SME Mining Engineering Handbook is THE reference for mining engineers. At home in any offices dealing eith the mining industry.

This will be a good book for those in school working toward the more technical side of the mining industry, and the book does give you a good general history where the industry has been and where it is now. Despite that though, if you are an disciplining to be an engineer in the field this book will not be terribly useful to you out in industry. I find the other SME Mining Reference Handbook to be my go to for the details I need.
