The rod is great, color is awesome and it light weight and sensitive for fishing for bass. The handle has a nice grip on it that’ll last and has a comfortable grip to it. I feel it’s a great value for the money and is now one of my favorite rods.

I recently added the KastKing Royale Legend Pro rod to my angling arsenal. I chose the casting Crankbait 7' M Moderate version from the 13 on offer. I wanted a little more backbone than my other rods had. This rod certainly has the backbone due to its multi-layer construction. But what has surprised me is just how sensitive it is. I can feel every bump, rock etc, on the bottom of my favorite lake. It is every bit as good as any of my other rods. Then too, I found its casting accuracy to be exceptional. I want accuracy even more than distance in my casting. But with this rod mounted with a KastKing Speed Demon Elite reel, I had both. This is my first rod with the micro style K-Frame guides. They too have lived up to my expectations. No tangles with KastKings braided line. I have not tried fluorocarbon yet. I shall probably do so in the near future. One more observation, this rod is incredibly light for its backbone and length. I would say that it is even lighter than my ultra light Ugly Stick. And that is saying something. All in all, I can highly recommend this rod. In fact, with its numerous potential styles, it just might be the only rod brand you will need for your own personal angling arsenal.

Rod is very well built with great components. My only issue is it isn’t even close to being a Heavy action. KastKing notoriously has softer than advertised rod flexes and this one is the same. Great rod, but it’s definitely a MH and not a H.

Great casting rod for the price. If you purchased the parts separately to try and build your own, it might cost twice as much. I don’t know how Kastking does it. This was a good choice for jerk bait fishing. Purchased for BFS style fishing. Proven Fugi guides, great grip, medium action, unbelievable price point.

I was unsure of the purple to be honest but after receiving this rod and fishing with it for a few days, I can tell you that it's very nice in hand and really nice to look at. The hook keeper on the side works well. Great action on the rod and I've been able to pull in a few goods ones on it already. Value is on point as well.

First hook set and the rod broke in two, fish was super small bass too < 1lb!!! I have a pic of the fish too, if you would like to see it. I have a bunch of the Kastking reels, they are awesome, so I thought I’d try out their rods but I’m super disappointed, they look great but the quality is off. Now I may have just gotten a bad one and I was just outside of the return window when I got to try this rod and boy it was disappointing. I had ordered three rods all at the same time, haven’t use the other two yet but I sure hope they don’t turn out like this one! I hope kastking does something about these rods and take care of their customers.
