The media could not be loaded. At first, the cows were scared of it, but they quickly figured out that it is a great back (and butt) scratcher! I followed another reviewer and dipped it in fly medicine + mineral oil and it seems to work great!Side note: One lesson I learned is that you don't want to keep it up if you are doing AI and trying to detect heat using the stickers on their booties. They rub the stickers and give a false heat. Lesson learned!

I would gladly pay $15 more for the ropes if they had a steel cable running through them .as over time the rope gets heavy and the ends tear leaving it in the mud .

These are built tough. We liked them having the rope completely thru rub and not just on each end.

We soaked the cattle rub in 2 gallons of mineral oil and permethrin. I added a video of our steer enjoying the rub. The package says 10’ long, even though the description says its 36”. Works for us!
