My colleague recently loss her mother and I gave this to her as a condolence gift. The angel is very nice with the hanging jewel that looks very beautiful. The words on the card is very touching and is simple that gets the message across in a very hopeful and tender way.

This is a beautiful, tasteful crystal angel that’s a wonderful tribute and gift to anyone who has lost a loved one – or someone who just needs a little spiritual boost.It features a long chain, which carries a thin metal angel and a heavy prism crystal ball, which glistens and sparkles in the light.The packaging is extraordinary, with a beautiful well-crafted box, with an inspiring note that reads – “There are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they’re gone, the light remains.”My only criticism is that the chain and hook are extremely thin and fragile – and the chain is really long - which might break under the weight of the crystal ball over time. Other than that, it’s a beautiful piece.

Above the angel are several different size crystal beads--for a bit more sparkle. The entire piece is strung with metal wire and chain, so it should hold up well for years.It's a beautiful memorial piece, but it's not limited to that only. There isn't anything on the piece itself that mentions memorial or sympathy, so it could easily be used as a gift to anyone who collects or loves angels. I like that--I think it's always better to not be limited to one type of use only.It's really pretty and will look beautiful hanging in any sunny window.
