Literally changed our barrel of a eurolock with thumb turn key to a two sided regular key one, in order to fit this! But it was a game changer for my elderly mum. She now can use her fingerprint to get in the house and does not have to fiddle about trying to find a key to put in her lock (under her handle which is already shaded and therefore difficult to see!). You can add up to 100 users. The quality is good and it appears sturdy, I'm pretty DIY competent so I changed the barrel to make it work, if you have a thumb turn key, and you have to change the eurolock barrel watch youtube videos, you can buy a replacement for about £12 from B&Q. You do need to be tech savvy to set this up, my husband and & calibrated this for my mum, she would never have been able to do this alone. But we found it easy to fit, easy to use my elderly mum to use (which is amazing) and we've set it to lock 1 minute after she gets in, so great lock functionality. She can now never forget her key, and it won't matter if she forgets to lock the door...

High quality, powerful smart lock. Installed to help my daughter with a difficult lock that she was struggling to open when getting home from school. Easy to change the batteries and no special cells required. Easy to install on my door - took only 10 minutes to set-up using a couple of Allen key screws to hold in place. May be more complicated on other doors. Finger print reader is excellent and unlocks the door super fast. Integrates well with the switchbot app.

I purchased this item to replace a Nuki lock which we found to be tempremental and ate batteries like candy. Initially I was very happy with the lock and the keypad. However after two months the keypad stopped working. It still reads fingerprints but no longer will open with the codes assigned to users. I contacted customer support on 9th January 2025 and its now 30th January and the situation has not be resolved. This is because they take 4/5 days (yes you read that right) to read an email and respond which you respond to only for the to reply asking for another piece of information. If reliablity and help when things go wrong is important to you don't buy this product.

Had this lock for about 6 weeks, in that time on 5 occasions the app has reported the lock being unlocked when it is actually locked, meaning you cannot use the app to unlock it, requiring the lock to be re-calibrated. this appears to be caused by manually operating the lock. Contacted Switchbot who informed there will be an update to sort this out, so far it has not appeared. Generally pleased with the lock although it doesn't lend itself to fitting to the combined lock and handle common in the UK so requires some time spent fitting. I used 3M tape and some strips of wood and it is still firmly in place, if a 3D printer is available there are number of downloads available for a suitable mounting.

Got this after reviewing lots of different types. I fit doors for a living and have installed hundreds of digital locks. This is by far the best around for the money. Works perfectly, easy to install and is made of the highest quality compared to others, the app and connecting to alexa is fabulous Update. I’ve been using this lock now on my front door for around 4 months. Just thought I’d give you an update. Very minimal issues. Batteries still going strong and I have now installed another two on my home so in total I have 3 with the keypad fingerprint that works wonderfully, few issues when it’s wet if there’s rain on it, but you can easily pop in your code or there’s lots of other ways to gain access Truly is a remarkable lock and is well worth the money

Amazing product, we needed a smart lock system for a wheelchair user and found this, originally willing to replace the entire handle and lock on a upvc door, this has ended up being an amazing solution. We already had thumbscrew locks making it so easy to install, the kit includes everything to adapt it. The keypad and thumbprint reader work flawlessly, the mini hub allows us to open and close the lock from anywhere in the world and as a backup if everything fails, you can just use your key as normal. So far so good, and highly recommended.

After using the original SwitchBot Smart Lock for almost a year, it started behaving badly. It was outside the return window, so I contacted Amazon, explained the issue, and they agreed to accept the return. Once the return was processed, I bought the SwitchBot Smart Lock Pro, the upgraded version. Installation was straightforward again, but there were a few differences from the original: You get a backplate that attaches to your door handle. The smart lock then mounts to this plate and locks/unlocks the door. · The door’s internals are left as they are — especially important if you have a snap-resistant euro cylinder with a removable indoor thumb-turn. This is a big plus for insurance: you’re adding a device to turn the existing lock rather than removing its security components. Still, check with your insurer. · Unlike the original, which sat over the thumb-turn and adjusted itself to turn it, the Pro uses small adapters fitted to the turn spindle (I’m not sure of the exact name). The lock then turns the hexagonal adapter. · The battery compartment is improved: the cover is magnetic and easier to remove when changing batteries. I’ve now used the Pro for well over two years, so here are my honest findings. Pros: 1. It’s a great lock overall. 2. It shouldn’t cause insurance problems (but do check), because you’re adding a device to turn the lock, not removing the lock’s internals/security. 3. Fitting is easy. 4. Battery life is good. 5. The app tells you when it’s unlocked, locked, or left unlocked, with a time log. Cons The same problem from the previous version has resurfaced. After a certain number of rotations, the smart lock loses track and starts doing one of the following: A. It overturns slightly. B. It underturns. C. It turns but jams itself. It gets stuck, reports a jam, and tells you to use a key. The worst part is when you’re inside trying to get out and the lock is stuck, so the door remains locked. What do you do when the smart lock won’t turn? You have to rotate it manually — but that won’t work if it’s jammed. You need to turn it the opposite way to unjam it, then turn it again to unlock manually. This then causes the lock to lose its sense of rotation because it’s completely out of sync with its alignment, so you have to recalibrate it. I find this happens a lot now. Even with these flaws, it’s still a good device because it’s easy to install, etc. But if it happens while you’re stuck outside in the rain, you’ll need to use a key — and that has happened to me. Verdict: A good retrofit smart lock with useful app features and easy installation, but the recurring jamming and calibration issues are frustrating. Keep a key with you, and be prepared to recalibrate.

Update: I have raised the rating from 1 star to 5 stars. The reason is the outstanding customer service. I’ll admit that one of the issues with the lock was my fault. I had fitted it poorly, which caused excessive strain on the device when it tried to lock, leading to failures. I 3D-printed an adapter that allows me to fine-tune the fit after the base plate is screwed onto the door. We still can’t determine the cause of the issue with the other lock, so SwitchBot proactively reached out and offered to send me a replacement, we’ll see how that goes. The customer service has been exceptional: responsive, proactive, and clearly committed to resolving customer issues. I get the strong impression that they are a small development team genuinely passionate about getting their products right, and that goes a long way with me. The warning about having a backup way of gaining entry to your home still stands. This isn’t really a criticism of SwitchBot, it’s simply a limitation of most Euro-cylinders. If your cylinder uses a key on both sides, you must keep a key inserted on the inside for SwitchBot to work. That means you cannot use a key from the outside if the device fails. Most Euro-locks won’t accept keys from both sides simultaneously. So make sure you have a backup entry method, or, swap your cylinder for a thumb-turn type. That’s what I did, and now I can use both SwitchBot and a normal key. --- Old Review (for reference): I have two lock pro units a keypad vision and a normal keypad. When the work it's fine. But, we have to recalibrate the units about once per week. It seems to be a bug that's been around for years (search online) which they don't seem to be able to fix. Worst of all, it often tells us the door is locked, when it isn't. That's unforgivable for any security product. If you do get one on these (I wish I hadn't), then make sure you have a thumb turn mechanism on the inside of your home. These do work with a cylinder that has a key both sides, but you'll need to have the key inserted on the inner side on the cylinder. That means you can't then use a key to open the door in the switchbot fails. For god sake, don't trust these devices without a key backup.

لا انصح بهذا المنتج لاسباب كثيره الكيبورد لا يتحمل اجاء السعوديه خلال ايام اقل من سبوع سيتلف سيتغير لونه الى الابيض و يتاثر البصمه ولا يقبل برمجه كروت اما القطعه الداخليه تصرف بطاريه بشكل ملحوظ لايستمر شهرين حتى لو لم تستخدم القفل الى مرتين بطي في فتح وفي القفل كما ان سنسر التعرف على الباب ان كان مفتوح او مغلق لا يستمر بعمل على طول احيان يعمل واحيان لا وغير هذا كل برمجت القفل كل فتره يحتاج اعادة برمجه مع الباب من الممكن ان لا يفتح بابك عندما تريد الدخول للبيت بدل ان يفتح القفل لو كان يحتاج للفتين يفت فقط لفه واحده وهنا المصيبه انه لن يفتح مهما حاولت

Los materiales son de calidad, aunque no dejan de ser plástico, en cuanto al funcionamiento, el motor es lo suficientemente fuerte para abrir y cerrar de forma fluida, sobre la app, puedes operar la cerradura desde el teléfono y con el teclado es posible registrar varios códigos permanentes y temporales (todos separables por persona). Lo que deja mucho que desear es la integración con Home Assistant: no expone qué usuarios ingresan, solo muestra el estado de la cerradura y los cambios de esta. Aun así, si tomas en cuenta el precio, es un 10/10.

INSTALLAZIONE A PROVA DI PRINCIPIANTE L'installazione è stata un vero piacere. Le istruzioni sono chiarissime, dettagliate e, cosa non da poco, disponibili in un ottimo italiano. Ho apprezzato moltissimo l'attenzione ai dettagli: per il mio tipo di serratura non è stato nemmeno necessario usare il potente nastro biadesivo fornito. Sono bastati i piccoli accorgimenti per le viti di fissaggio, per le quali è inclusa anche la chiavetta a brugola della misura perfetta. In meno di 20 minuti era tutto montato. CONFIGURAZIONE SOFTWARE IMMEDIATA La configurazione tramite l'app è stata altrettanto semplice. L'applicazione ha riconosciuto e si è collegata al dispositivo immediatamente, senza incertezze o tentativi a vuoto. In pochi minuti era tutto pronto e funzionante.
