Stop the wonky
I’ve been going through the ball bearing swivel on my trolling motor seat, about 1 a season. I’m really tired of ball bearings rolling around on the floor of my boat, and my chair going all wonky. When I got this I was excited because it is so well made, much more heavy duty, better steel over the ball bearing kind. You notice this right out of the box. It rotates very smoothly, effortlessly, and it’s stable. I am really impressed with the quality, and just hope it lasts, because I’ve only had it for 1 month so time will tell, but so far absolute dynamite. 5+ stars

Durability and smooth effective swivel!
Gona send back love everything but don’t feel good about plastic bearings. It would or could work but got the 20.00 dollar aluminum powder coated with steel bearings gotta be better. I saw stainless and got excited pulled trigger. I looked that eve so I ordered other ones both came I compared and not gona chance a bad outcome of 🐠 ng on 8 hr trips fishing in ocean…

Heavy Duty 2.6 Pound-Nylon Bearing-316 Stainless Steel-Marine grade
This is a 2.6 pound 6.7 inch square 316 stainless steel boat seat swivel with a non-rusting (not ball bearing) stringed nylon bearing that I thought was heavy duty enough to make a plywood large rotating 9 square foot platform. I've used smaller 10 inch diameter kitchen sized "lazy susan" rotating platforms to paint smaller items but needed a larger 24 to 36 inch one to paint some out door chairs . When I received the swivel it was riveted tightly together, perfect for its intended use, but would not rotate easily enough for a rotating painting platform. I ground off the large rivet and bolted it together to solve the problem. This is a really well built replacement seat swivel, better than original on most seats, I'm hoping will be the heart of my new painting table.

Not 316SS
Aside from this not being 316 Stainless, it appears to work fine. It’s actually 304 Stainless (verified by x-ray analysis), so as long as that will work for you, this seat swivel should be fine.

Didn’t Last
Quality seemed decent when I installed them for my patio chairs. But, within a months time this one snapped. I weigh 175lbs. Wouldn’t recommend.

Unusable
Mine must have been pressed together (huge rivet) too much because I cannot get it to rotate. I even lightly clamped one side on a large vise and with a 3 foot section of 2 X 4 with nail tips in the slots I cannot get the other half to move! Not the first time I have used/mounted them on boat seats! I liked the idea of stainless but this one is useless!!! Also slots for mounting seats DO NOT ALIGN WITH ANY STANDARD SEAT!!!
