This squeezer is poorly designed. I bought it to replace an excellent one that I owned that was made completely of plastic and had developed a hairline crack in its top handle that I knew would eventually fail. This one looked to be made of sturdier materials and so I bought it. Unfortunately, I did not test it when I first received it or else it would have been returned immediately. I decided to wait until my original had finally failed before taking it out of its box and so missed my return window and am left with a piece of equipment that is not fit for purpose.One of the most important functions of this tool should be the ability for the juice to flow easily from within. This does not happen with this particular model because an important piece of design is missing. The bowl section that holds the half lemon has holes in the centre to allow the juice to leave it. Both bowls should contain a series of ridges, or serrations, all the way around from centre to edge to allow the juice to flow towards the escape holes and drop into your container of choice, but because this particular model has a smooth lower bowl which is not serrated or ridged in any way, the suction between the lemon skin and the bowl forms a tight grip which does not to allow the juice to flow towards the holes. This means that the only way for the squeezed juice to leave the bowl is over the sides. The missing ridges or serrations are an essential part of any squeezer and without them this tool is of little use. Also, the bowls are too large and are designed for large lemons or small oranges only. I tried squeezing limes with it and it was useless. It would only half-squeeze them and I had to do the rest with my hands. I would not recommend this squeezer.

I purchased this item mainly for making cocktails but I haven't used it yet. The lemon spray was a complete surprise and I am certain I will make full use of that also in due course.

Non facile pulizia, dopo pochi utilizzi uno dei due rivestimenti del manico si è sformato ed esce dalla sua sede, il succo esce per una buona quantità da sopra, spargendosi dappertutto oltre che nel posto dove si vuole indirizzare.

Purtroppo mi vedo costretta a modificare la mia recensione precedente e a dare due stelle.Il materiale è ottimo ma purtroppo gli agrumi non si spremono bene, almeno la metà del succo resta lì con un grande spreco. Non lo consiglio

Eccellente! La bellezza di avere i due bracci abbastanza lunghi da non dover sforzarsi par spremere... (un paio di centimetri in più non avrebbero guastato). La sicurezza di spremere senza che si rompa niente! Provengo da multiple esperienze di spremitori uno in plastica l'altro in alluminio, davvero deludenti! Complimenti anche per il prezzo direi piuttosto contenuto. Suggerirei di far guardare il testo della presentazione del prodotto che risulta essere in italiano ed in inglese mischiati fra loro alla rinfusa, invece di essere separati e distinti; prima in italiano e poi se crediate anche in inglese. Looked sturdy but the silicone rubber slipped off during the first use. The squeezer does not wring out all the juice as it does not go down much on the lime. Quite disappointed with the performance of this item.But again, I put two stars because once I use the squeezer, it is relatively easy for me to get the rest of the juice out using my fingers.
