It's a small size, and easy to use
I like these battery chargers because they are small, and easy to use. They have mounting holes, that I thought could be used to mount it under the hood, but maybe not.Nothing says waterproof, and in their video it is mounted to a inside wall. The charger comes with the typical clamps, and also the bolt on connection with the quick disconnect. This will be handy for side terminal batteries.I also like that this is a two pack.

Good low current maintainer/charger - great value - minor FM interference
These day you can’t get much for $50 as far as battery chargers go, let alone two of them. These do fit into the maintainer category, however within 24 hours it fully charged my completely dead (11V) 1000 CCA (“large battery”) that I use for my dump trailer. After it finished, it kept it maintained at a full voltage until a few days later when I removed it.It does keep its settings when you power it off which was good (LiFeP04 VS repair or AGM). It does create some minor FM radio interference, but it isn’t severe and my normal stations aren’t affected. My plan for these was to permanently mount one in the dump trailer, so that I just plug it in when needed, instead of having to carry the battery to the charger all the time. Given the price it’s a great top off charger. I used to run a similar charger in the winter for my diesel that didn’t start well. I had a powerbar under the hood and ran both the block heater and the charger whenever it was plugged in. This made sure my battery was 100% ready and cranked fast and hard. I may do that for the old tractor as well. With that in mind they come with both the eyelets (for smaller batteries) and the alligator clips, and they can be changed with a simple "SAE" 12V plug (common on small solar and some small 12V systems). This is nice too if for instance you didn't want to leave it on 24/7, but it can still save dragging the battery out in my dump trailer example. For now the one is just sitting in my charging area, and depending on how I’m feeling I use that charger or my main one. I also have one LiFePO4 battery and I’ll use this whenever it’s needing a top up.I did put it on a battery that was completely junk (10+ year old lawnmower battery). Two cells were shorted out so it would come to rest at about 9V. I left it on overnight. The charger was still trying, (never went into “maintenance” mode), and was slowly bubbling over the battery (to be expected).

worked well on home battery back up using AGM batteries
For home emergency power back up, I have a collection of automotive AGM batteries to power some Inverters. The AGM automotive battery may not be an ideal choice, but several units were readily available and cheaper option than Lithium by far. So these chargers being equipped with smart technology to properly charge and maintain AGM battery chemistry was a good choice. In my test period I only had slightly discharged batteries, so this was not a test of rescuing deeply discharged batteries quickly... the 3 amp output brought up to full charge overnight. I continued to monitor the voltage while still connected over several days and it appeared the Float Charging was right on the money. This is a low current charger, so it should serve me well in maintaining the health of my AGM battery bank over the long term. If I need to recover from deep discharge after a period of prolonged use from an extended power outage, I would likely switch over to a higher current charger I already have to speed things up. But slower charging time is not a shortcoming of this product, it delivers as advertised. These units replaced 4 other "name brand" chargers that failed after only 2 years, but only carried a 1 year warranty! So I can say from experience you may spend far more on something else that may appear more feature packed or give the illusion of bullet proof construction & quality and still fail in the end. So at this price point for 2 chargers, excellent value. An added little bonus is that my older failed chargers used the same interchangeable charging cord ends... so plug & play to permanently mounted ring terminals worked out even better in using this model! Automatic features with just one button and a no-nonsense display. It works, but I did not test it on a deeply discharged battery nor use the repair feature. If I do, I will update this review because some automatic chargers of this sort shut off when connected to deeply discharged batteries with low voltage in interpretation that they are defective and not discharged. So again, did not test for this. As a maintainer and overnight slow charger, no complaints.

Works well -shuts off automatically
This is a nice charger to have in the trunk of the car. It does not take up very much room. Works well when charging time is not an issue. When charging my dead battery I was happy with its performance. I charged it over night. It shut of automatically once the battery was fully charged. I plan to us it on batteries in storage during winter to keep them fully charged so they do not freeze.

Modern cars need to be used daily
Modern cars often drain a battery if left parked for a week or two without being driven. With this trickle charger you can leave your modern car and be sure the battery will be good when you come back from a trip, or lack of use. You actually get 2 units, which seems pretty amazing at the price and ensures you'll have one even if one fails in a few years. The settings stayed even when unplugged, that was useful.
