My only gripe with this is that it doesn't do well with f style jugs but I don't think that is the machines fault I think that's the bottle's fault. The way I got around that was by pushing the cap down as far as it would go and hovering about a 1/8 of an inch above the surface before I push the button and I was able to make it work with no issues

I asked for better operating instructions and got them. Easy to use now that I understand how to set it. Team there was very helpful. Great device to seal lids for product safety.

This unit only has heating to about 60mm and not the 100mm that it says. If you are sealing a small top, it works ok, as the heating is focused in the center. It is not hard to use, but the interface is unclear. It did not work for me because I had a 70mm foil with a pull tab. It would not seal the area around the pull tab because it did not heat the tab, which acted as a heat sink, even though the full tab was within the 100mm that this unit claims. You can see if you overheat a large foil that the heat area is within only about 60mm or so. Note you need to press down on the foil, either with a cap or pressing down with the unit. Also, the interface is a bit clunky. The first button is power level, the middle buttons are the time and the fourth button is the on/off. A display of 3.14 would be power setting 3 and 1.4 seconds of heating. This is not inituitive but if you play with it you can kind of figure it it out. You have to press the power button twice to turn it on and get the timer to show up.
