The adapter that was shipped to me was 45 watts, not 65. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until it was too late to do anything about it. My other complaint is it only lasted a few months until I got the dreaded "unable to identify power supply" message. I honestly can only place part of the blame on the adapter as Dell's very poor engineering of power connector and placement of the connector encourages breakage of the power supply identification wire at the connector. I probably will not buy another Dell product because of this engineering defect and their unwillingness to correct it. Back to the adapter, it worked great until it didn't. I would not advise against buying this, but I would advise checking to make sure you were shipped the item advertised as soon as you receive it and being aware that it has a limited life, which may be true of all power supplies for certain Dell laptops.

I bought this to have a power bank at home and at work without having to always transport them- and I can leave them plugged in and out of the way and don't have to bend over and move things around to get them plugged in every time I want to use them. I haven't had one issue and my laptop charges as good as ever. It's good quality. I don't worry about breaking it by heavy use. I would buy one again.

I have a Dell Inspiron 17" 3000 series and this power supply works great. I use the power supply while traveling. No error messages. Charges battery same as original Dell charger. I only wish there was a right angle plug on the computer side of the cord. Not a show stopper though.

I bought this product back in January 2019 and it's no longer working as evident by the dreaded 'unrecognized' notice during bootup. Considering the cost of $9 and that it was always plugged in, it has worked just fine over the last 11 months. I began looking on Amazon for a replacement but judging from the reviews there isn't a whole lot different in the durability of these aftermarket adapters, therefore, I'll stick with the devil I know. I plan to reorder this one because, for me, it's a good value.

I purchased 2 for 2 Dell laptops that are less than 6 month old. The order arrived quickly and worked perfectly. Great price for a great product. I was a little skeptical of it working to be honest as a non-OEM labeled product. In the past I have tried to use non-dell supplies but when they are plugged in it indicates that it is not a dell product and would not charge the battery. This works fine and the price was great! Very pleased with it, would have no hesitation to buy another one!

Having paid more than 3X's the price of this Charger, I was not sure of what I was getting! I took the gamble due to Amazon's return policy. It sure paid off!I had to replace the original Charger due to failure of the wiring from the charger to the Computer. It had failed where the connector attaches to the wiring. I was dubious of it when I got the Computer. This wiring is superior to the whole original unit!

We needed a replacement power supply that matched our Dell laptops. Saw this supply on Amazon for a great price. Ordered and received the item quickly with Prime. Supply was in perfect NEW condition and worked well with our laptops. After many weeks the supply is still working as needed. Totally satisfied with this purchase.
