It's a good size and carries a reasonable amount of laundry that is appropriate to carry up the stairs without doing my back in. I personally wouldn't want it any larger then that. The basket feels sturdy and of good quality. It requires a little muscle to fold or open it which is a requirement in its design so that it doesn't open/close voluntarily.

We bought ours in April 2018 and the bit that folds has broken completely. We don't use it every day. I'd say the folding part started to split two months ago and now has finally given up. 200 uses I guess.

Nice basket and very capacious but I can see the silicone folds are likely to wear out quickly.
