The material is very stiff and literally cuts into you when ever you bend forward. After a day of wearing, I was literally in pain. That was on a pair of Helikon UTP trousers, so I tried this belt on some jeans, same issue there. I now use this belt as a spare strap to secure gear to a barrow when fishing. It's not fit for purpose as a belt strap. I subsequently bought a different Helikon belt (in softer material) and that has proven to be OK.

Tough as tough. Well made and dependable.Manufactured to have no scratchy edges. Easy to buckle and reels, Ideal to cinch a big pack or use as a utility belt.

I purchased this received this item around 9 months ago.Initially happy but belt buckle snapped rending item unusable.Given the implication from "tactical line" of implied durability and the light use - mainly weekends I am extremely disappointed.This is compounded by the fact that Military & Outdoor refuses refund or replacement for the belt.Avoid item and Military & Outdoor, get 5.11 Tactical Double Duty TDU Belt sold by BlackLeaf  5.11 Tactical Double Duty TDU Belt 1.5 inch - TDU Green Black - Medium , I have this belt also and its hard serious use over the 10 months I have owned and it is perfect.
