It is a pretty night light. I enjoy the changing colors. There is no music or timer that I can tell but not bad for the price

I really love that you can adjust not only the color but also the brightness. I typically keep it on one of the bluish green settings because that matches my room, but over all it is a great light.

I bought this lamp hoping to add a subtle, dim blue, green, red, or purple underwater or Northern lights vibe to an almost dark bedroom. No luck. When I plugged this cute little cube in, set it on an uppermost shelf, and darkened the room entirely, I could detect a subtle underwater look to the light cast on the walls and ceiling by the lamp as it rotated through blue and green.There are three problems with this:1. The lamp has three levels of brightness, except when the dynamic wave pattern is turned on, then only 100% brightness is available.2. The lamp allows the user to select different colors, again, except when the dynamic wave pattern is turned on when the lamp rotates through all of the colors.3. In the Amazon materials, this product is advertised as an "Ocean Wave Northern Lights Ripple Projector." This description led me to believe that there would be more than one pattern selectable for the lights. There was not. There was only one.Two other features make this lamp sub-optimal:1. There is no battery or standard outlet plug, just a USB cord hardwired in the base.2. When the dynamic water pattern is turned on, the mechanical device inside is quite noisy as it rotates.

Absolutely loved it! It has great colors and settings to mood your party just right!

This is a terrific mood light! I am really happy with it's performance. I thought it was weird that they didn't make it rechargeable, like most little lamps are these days. But, there is a nice long white USB end cord attached to the lamp that plugs into a hub or computer, so no problem there.The Ocean Wave Northern Lights ripple projecting light has 16 different vibrant colors. When you first plug the USB end cord to a port, the bulb inside the lamp rotates to create the ripple motion patterns, and it will cycle through the three primary colors; red, green, and blue. I was happy to see the controller in the box, and I pulled the plastic guard out immediately to activate the batteries, so I could see more colors! Out of the 16 color choices, my favorites are yellow and red. There is also a rainbow fade so you can see all the colors circulating in and out for variety. The red is really bright and a perfect red tone. It's so bright that the wave looks really cool up on the ceiling with that color choice. The blue is awesome too, but the red just blew me away.The lamp itself is a little plastic cube that has ripple effects all over it making it look like a piece of art on your shelf or table. The base is a simple flat piece of natural colored wood that is a little wider than the cube. It is completely sealed up so there is no bulb to change. You can not beat this amazing mood lamp for the price, it's a bargain in my opinion. I am so happy with my lamp, and I would absolutely recommend it to others that love cool mood lights in their homes!

This mood light cube is small and easily fits on most shelves. It plugs into a standard USB A 5V outlet. There is a remote control that changes the color/function of the cube. You have 16 individual colors to choose from or 4 transitioning functions that switch through the colors. The lighting effects are less spectacular than what the pictures show. On a shelf near a wall, I have light emanating from it no more than 2 - 3 feet from the top and less than 1 foot from the sides. There is a faint dancing of light on the ceiling 9 feet above. In a completely dark room, it has more presence however the actual light effect is highly dependent on where you place it. It's a niche product so putting a value on this is difficult. At full price it is hardly worth it, but on sale for around $16 then sure it's a fun product and would make for a great gift.

This ripple water effect light is very bright, pretty and relaxing. The smooth color transition is my favorite setting as the colors mix nicely and you get this cool effect where you can see bits of the next color changing. Its very mesmerizing to look at and has many different settings. There is a smooth color transition, a fade that will switch from red, green, blue, a quick flash of red, green, blue, and a strobe effect that is the same as the flashing version. There is also a way to just keep it on one stagnate color, which is a large range of rgb. When using any of the special effects ;Strobe, flash, fade and smooth, you can use the brightness up and down buttons to control the rate at which it will change colors. This does not effect the brightness of these effects; which is something I wish could be done, but when you are on the single color mode they do effect the brightness of the light.
