Yes, it’s pricey, but this is one of those products where you genuinely see and feel the difference. My skin looks firmer, more resilient, and overall just healthier since I started using it. It gives that subtle “well-rested” look that’s hard to fake with makeup alone. I use a lot of luxury K-beauty — Amorepacific, Hera, IOPE, Rejuran — and this serum doesn’t compete with them, it complements them beautifully. It layers well, doesn’t feel heavy, and works especially nicely when my skin is feeling tired, dull, or a little slack. The only downside (and I’m being honest here) is the scent. It has a very distinct ginseng/herbal fragrance that I don’t personally love — but it dissipates quickly, and the results make it easy to live with. For me, the performance outweighs the scent by a long shot. If you’re on the fence because of the price, I get it — but this is one of those products that reminds you why Sulwhasoo has such a loyal following.
