I have only used mine once, and was kind of leery after reading some of the reviews on them about the screen switching views on its own, cameras not staying paired, or lag on the side cameras. I tow a 26' Jayco Jay Flight with my 2012 Nissan Titan that I installed aftermarket tow mirrors on. Between the tow mirrors and these cameras, there were NO blind spots around my vehicle or camper at 70MPH+ highway speeds. Side cameras were very precise. When the vehicle was just about gone from camera view, BAM!, there it was in the side mirror. When I wanted to switch lanes, checked clearance in rear camera, verified with side mirror, and smooth, easy lane changes were a plenty. Will try to break my "backing up using the side mirror" habit this weekend and report back on that, but I am VERY pleased with my set. Well worth the money in my opinion for the peace of mind. Very easy to install, also. My camper is a 2021, and was pre-fitted with all brackets necessary. Removed 2 screws & dummy block from side markers, sild in cameras, replace screws and lenses, done in 10 minutes for both sides. Rear camera, remove 4 screws from cover plate, plug in existing power cord, push camera in place, and screw in place to holes for cover. 10 minutes there. 20 minutes total installation, then about 20 minutes to set up the monitor in the truck.

I purchased the 3 camera unit so I could see what's coming from either side and the back. I've tried three times to install these cameras, and each time I get strange results. The two side cameras got power, but never at the same time, then they just wouldn't power up the third time. The rear camera, I thought would be a no brainer. I installed per instructions, but again, no power or signal. My trailer stock running lights work perfectly, so I'm guessing that either the three cameras are defective, or the trailer power/data cable is not installed the way it needs to be. Either way, I'm giving up, and throwing the camera set in the trash as impossible to install. I will purchase a battery powered 3 camera system that doesn't need to rely on trailer wiring. I'm guessing the trailer manufacturer deliberately made things so that the owner had to take the trailer in to get things installed. For me, a expensive waste of money. Follow up: after some research, I found I needed a Furrion Vision S 7-Way Adapter with Power Switch for RV Camera System - F2BC004XXBK. Unfortunately, nothing of this requirement is mentioned anywhere, except when I figured out it was a 12 volt stability error. I've already purchased a battery powered system, and will have to try selling my Furrion S system, which is just too much trouble.

Purchased October, 2022 for our fifth wheel trailer. It has been mostly flawlessly. Sometimes signal would scramble. I have a Ram pick ip with remote start, after about 15 minutes of warming up, the monitor made a screeching sound and died. Won’t come back on at all, power is good. My research points to possibly a capacitor fried due to the way a Ram does the power in remote start mode. Apparently the monitor is not a reparable item. I am thinking a capacitor is east ti replace. We shall see. Lots of money for the amount actually use.

I am pulling a 32' camper behind an F-150 w/out extended Tow Mirrors. The rear camera is a must for backing this thing in. Even without tow mirrors I personally have no problem seeing down the whole side of the camper using my side mirrors. I rarely ever use the side camera on this thing. Recommendations: Hook your camper up and see how well you can see down the sides w/ your side mirrors. Its a lot easier than fidgeting with the screen, and I personally find the screen to small to keep all 3 views up all the time. If I could go back I'd personally buy just the rear-camera package.

I went with this because I needed a backup camera for my 33 ft total length travel trailer. I looked through multiple options, but the Furrion appeared to have the best monitor setup I could find. Having a pre-wired setup on the trailer was an added bonus. For me it works like it should 95% of the time. Sometimes going down the road it can get a bit jumpy, but for the most part it works well. The side cameras don't hardly help at all, as I can get much perspective on how close something actually is and still need my wife to spot for me on my blind side. But for backing into a space, it's amazing. You can actually get an idea of what's behind you and the one day it does save you, it pays for itself. That said, the back camera and monitor is a must and very happy. The side cameras add little benefit, but still nice. I can't find a brightness adjustment for the monitor and I've gone through every option I can find. I would still probably get the side cameras if I were to buy again, as one day they might save me from some tail wag incident. Picture is solid when the connection is good. Good luck using as a security camera, as you're pretty much guaranteed to wire this in with your parking lamps, and thus need those on for the cameras to be on. Nothing is stopping you from wiring them into their own connection and having a switch, but it sounds too time consuming for me for little gain. Likewise, you'll need a 12 cigarette plug in your trailer to run the monitor or supply it with 12v with a charger that's not provided. For me, I just need it when I'm driving and turning my parking lights on isn't much of an issue to get the cameras on.
