Many older homes have a single light bulb socket in the center of the ceiling. This ingenious device takes advantage of that to give you a ceiling fan AND a light in that one standard Edison base socket! It is larger than I expected. That means it will do a decent job of circulating air in your room. Excellent! It is NOT a toy, as I feared. This makes installing a ceiling fan as easy as screwing in a light bulb! That's huge! If you need some extra space between the light socket and the fan, a 3 2/3 inch extender is included in the package to get the fan farther from the ceiling.This ceiling fan is beautiful! There are 4 buttons on the remote control that control brightness (dimmer) and color temperature. It offers three color temperatures ranging from warm white to cold, bright white. Below the 4 buttons are the fan speed controls. The fan has four speeds to choose from. There is a button to shut the ceiling fan down and turn off the light too. This fan measures 12 1/4 inches diameter by 5 1/8 inches tall. The fan runs quite quietly, a good thing. At high speeds you will hear the sound of the fan, but not the motor. It is quieter than regular ceiling fans. The fan blades are attached with a knob. The fan can be disassembled for easy cleaning.Isn't it amazing what those Chinese people can come up with?

The media could not be loaded.  I have mine above a work bench in the basement.Pros:1. It’s bright, or dim when you want it to be.2. It’s quiet. On the lowest fan level (1) I can’t hear it at all. From 2-4 you can hear the wind noise but it’s not loud.3. The amount of air being moved on the lowest level is plenty for me sitting at the work bench beneath it.4. The color options of the lights are a great feature.Cons:1. Blade direction not reversible. Only blows downward.2. Remote control distance becomes spotty beyond 10 feet. Checked with new batteries.I’ve seen another review state that their fan was slightly crooked. I liked the fan enough to purchase a second one, both fans aligned perfectly straight. If your sockets are a bit crooked, your fan will be a bit crooked.Definitely recommend.

I didn't know they had a ceiling fan that just screws into a regular light socket. Had to try this myself, and for it's size.. it does indeed put off a breeze, even when you are standing away from it. The light temp selection is very nice touch. The remote is decent too, not flat with a coin battery like most electronics these days.I use this on the Backporch where there's little air circulation, and it's massive improvement. Not loud at all on it's highest fan setting. Doesn't vibrate or rattle, well made product! My only issue with this and it's very minor, also this might be something they intended if something happens to the remote.When turning off and on it will default back to factory settings, the light part. You'll have to flip the switch twice for the light and the fan to come on. It's recommended to just use the remote, other than that... Get one! I wish all ceiling fans we're this easy to install.

It looks nicer than I expected. The color temperature and the luminance of the light can be changed from the remote aswell as the fan speed. When running, the fan is extremely quiet.ConclusionI can see this being useful in a small office or workshop where light and air movement are needed.

This little light and fan was unbelievably easy to install after we were able to find and additional extension plug to use on the recessed lighting in my office. The unit just screws into the light socket and it is ready to use. I like the ability to soften the light because one of them is right over my right shoulder and I don't want the glare on my computer screen. The fan is also going to be great when the Texas summer arrives and it is 105 degrees. Since I spend most of my time in my office I won't have to have the big AC unit cranked up so high (and expensively) to just keep comfortably cool. Since I have two recessed lights in my office I'm getting another fan light to go in the other location also. The price of the unit is also very good for a pretty light fixture and a ceiling fan. I was surprised at how well the fan cooled the room as well.

This light is adjustable for brightness and color temperature and has a pretty good little fan on it despite its small size. A little pricey for what it is but it works well in our hallway to keep a nice breeze going where there is no natural light. I will say that the light is useless without the remote and can only go to one setting when turning the switch off and on (full brightness with the fan at highest speed) so don’t lose your remote if you want to be able to control them independently.

What a fantastic little device! I've got a recessed light in my dining room, and it often gets a bit stuffy in there. The thought of having a ceiling fan in that space is truly a dream come true for me.There's only one minor hiccup: the extension part doesn't align perfectly straight, resulting in a slight tilt to the fan. However, this doesn't impact its functionality and might just be an isolated incident. While I'm not deducting any stars for this issue, I believe it's important for both potential buyers and the seller to be aware of.Despite this small setback, I must say this little fan packs quite a punch! It produces a refreshing breeze, and the light it emits is wonderfully bright. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
