This stuff is amazing. I really struggle to sleep if there is any light. I have a blackout blind and curtains, but the way they are fitted, and the fact there is a streetlight right outside my bedroom windownow, there was still light coming in through the edges. So I thought I'd give this a try. It's easy to cut to size and the velcro and the glue on it are really good and strong. It didn't take long at all and I felt annoyed at myself for not doing it ages ago. My bedroom is now completely dark and I slept much better last night. TIP* I've put a small motion controlled night light in the right place for it to come on when I get out of bed, or I'd never find the door lol. I would give more stars if I could.

Very good quality and works perfectly for blocking sunlight. I really like the idea of putting this barrier on the windows to reduce light in the room. It also helps keep the room warmer in winter by stopping cold air coming inside, and cooler during summer. Very practical and useful for everyday use.

This temporary blackout blind is a lifesaver! It perfectly solved our problem after moving into our new home, as our custom curtains won't arrive for another 4-6 weeks. It’s incredibly easy to use—you just cut it to fit your window size. I actually bought more than I needed, so I used the extra piece in my garden as a ground cover for planting, and it works surprisingly well there too! A very versatile product.

Brilliant, really exceeded expectations. Was a mission to put up as the window is really wide, almost 2 metres, and about 1.5m high. I bought separate Velcro strips as the ones that come with this item is black, preferred white since they went onto a whit-painted wall. The amount of blind provided was more than adequate and came with tons of Velcro strips. The material is super light which makes it easy to set up, but also super strong. Black on the inside and silver on the outside which helps to reflect light and also makes the room cooler. The only real challenge was measuring and cutting the required length. Excellent product at a paltry £15. I put it up as a temporary solution while waiting for my proper blackout blind costing almost £500 to arrive.

Product works really well as a blackout blind, blocking pretty much all light from coming through, except at the edges of course. The adhesive strips are strong, and spares are provided, but I have had to replace a few that have fallen off over time. It's a little tricky to initially cut the material to size, as it's dispatched folded and hard to flatten out, but once in will fit to any size. One MAJOR gripe I have with this is that the adhesive residue is EXTREMELY hard to remove!! Even with a strong limonene-based solvent, removing the residue (after being in place for ~1year) took 15-25 mins of painstaking removal to take off without damaging the windows themselves. Overall, good in a pinch, but avoid unless absolutely necessary as VERY hard to remove!!!

Absolute lift saver!! They were super easy to install and you can cut to size. Once up it put the room in complete darkness which is more than I can say for the black out blinds we previously bought. We’ve bought 3 packs of these as the quality is great, we’ve also used in the summer although I wouldn’t use against the windows when it gets too warm as the material can get rather warm against the window.

Works absolutely fine and we’ve had no issues with any of the Velcro detaching in the year we’ve been using it. Our 5‘ x 5‘ window means there’s a slight gap at the bottom, but we weren’t able to find any brand that could fully cover this size window. Material fully blocks out the light
