I use this NAC to improve symptoms related to a "bad cold" I recently had, and very noticeable relief happens quickly after taking this product. With lots of water, I take one in the late morning and another a short while before bed.

I’m picky about my supplements but have found that the Whole Foods brand is generally a good brand.I was interested in taking a NAC supplement for my OCD. My OCD is manageable with an anti depressant and previous therapy but it still exists. I describe OCD as seeing something with my eyes, but as the message travels to register in my brain it takes a dive off a cliff and never gets to my brain so I have a desire to keep checking and checking etcThis supplement helps to fill the gap in the messaging in my brain. I still have OCD but it is easier for me to register what I am seeing. This supplement is not perfect- I’ll still have bad days. I feel that I have more better days than bad. As far as side effects go, it does make me a little tired.As with all supplements touch base with your provider before stating.
