Fixings are suitable for a range of insulation applications, including securing insulation boards
As a customer who has used the TIMCO PIF70 Plastic Insulation Fixings, I am providing a review outlining the good and bad aspects of this item. The good: 1. Durable construction: The TIMCO PIF70 Plastic Insulation Fixings are made of high-quality plastic material that is strong and durable. They can withstand the weight and pressure of insulation materials without breaking or deteriorating. 2. Easy installation: These fixings are designed for easy installation. They feature an M8 size with a length of 70mm, which makes them suitable for securely fastening insulation boards to various surfaces. The fixings can be easily inserted and secured with a compatible tool. 3. Corrosion-resistant coating: The zinc coating on the fixings provides protection against corrosion. This ensures that the fixings remain in good condition even in damp or humid environments, prolonging their lifespan. 4. Versatile usage: The TIMCO PIF70 Plastic Insulation Fixings are suitable for a range of insulation applications, including securing insulation boards to walls, ceilings, or other surfaces. They can be used in both residential and commercial settings. The bad: 1. Limited color options: The fixings are only available in white color. While color does not impact their functionality, some users may prefer different color options for better visibility or aesthetic reasons. 2. Quantity limitations: The TIMCO PIF70 fixings are sold in a bag of 100 pieces. While this quantity may be sufficient for small to medium-sized projects, it may not be suitable for larger-scale installations. Users may need to purchase multiple bags to accommodate their specific requirements. In summary, the TIMCO PIF70 Plastic Insulation Fixings offer a durable construction, easy installation, corrosion resistance, and versatile usage. They are suitable for securely fastening insulation boards to various surfaces. However, the limited color options and quantity limitations may be a drawback for some users. Overall, if you are in need of reliable and durable fixings for your insulation projects, the TIMCO PIF70 Plastic Insulation Fixings can be a practical choice.

Just what was needed
Just what was needed to fit poly backed plasterboard. Just make sure you drill holes deep enough.

Good rigid fixings.
Ideal positive fixing for insulated plasterboard. Used them to retrofit to a failed dot & dabbed solid wall sheet that had failed.

Good
Great to support PIR insulation panels, avoiding cold bridging Will use these again when job demands Simple to use, drill first then hammer them in

not strong enough / too flimsy bendy
No good for fixing studded membrane to wall. fixing goes in half way, then bends and will not come out without cutting. The fixing needs to be stronger / sturdier so it goes straight in. too flimsy.
