I didn't know how this was going to be. So I thought this kit contains everything, lets give it a try. And man oh man, love it! It's fun to make, fun to drink. Taste SO good! Like when you go into the shops that make it.. even better! Yummy! The directions are basic. So, let me tell you what I did. You boil water, add the tapioca balls, and cook until soft. About 10 minutes. But turn it to simmer once you add the balls. Stir often.I added 1 cup of water, and 5 heaping tablespoons of the powder mix. Mix mix mix. It takes forever to get the lumps out. Grab some ice. Maybe 4-5 cubes. Put in blender with drink mix. Blend. Put tapioca in the cup, pour drink mix on top. Yum!!! I am going to freeze coconut milk, and almond milk, and try that instead of ice. But even when mixing it with water, it was thick and creamy, as if you used milk. Super amazing!

My new found obsession is Taro boba milk tea. I gave this a 4 star only because I had to add a little love to it before it came out how I like it to taste. Either way, this kit is easy to follow. I like a little tea flavor in mine so I added some black tea and followed the powder directions exactly as they read, poured it over ice and to my surprise it tastes great. So if your in a pinch and can't visit your favorite Boba tea shop I highly recommend this product. Oh by the way, the boba's aren't sweet so if you like them sweet you'll have to doctor them up some. So with a little work you can have your favorite Taro Boba milk tea drink made in your on home.

If you like taro flavor Boba tea, this is it, but made at home. The strength of the tea used is really key to finding the perfect balance. Buying this again.

I made this tea, but the Taro flavor is weak. I put two times what was advised on the label and still could barely taste the Taro, was sweet enough, but not flavorful enough. It was almost gray, with a purple tinge.

Mix is nasty. Tried with water and with milk. Doesn’t mix well. Would not recommend.

Enjoyed this very much. Didn't come with the dome lids like I saw in some photos and wasn't in the description, so not sure where they got them. Quite good.

I sent this to my cousin for her birthday since she loves taro boba. She said the taeo flavor was very pronounced, unlike some ready made drinks she'd had at the shops. The texture was smooth and delicious. She was so thankful and excited to have her favorite treat made anytime, right there in her own kitchen.

It’s good for its price. I like the fact that I can customize how chewy I want my boba to be. What I dislike is the fact you need SO much powder to get the taste you want. It’s not 2 tablespoons like it says on the instructions, it’s a lot more. Everything is easy make, the taste of the taro isn’t that good, but it works.
