Great tv at a great price
Love the tv, looks really nice and a great picture. I’m really happy at the low level of reflection on the screen too, even in a light room. Not overly keen on the remote control or the clunky UI but they are not particularly important issues for me as I don’t really use the smart functions, I have a separate AppleTV streaming box for that. Big plus for me is that I’m no longer getting the audio dropouts on my Sonos surround sound system that I used to get on my Samsung tv. Only downside is the lack of HDR10+ but there is so little content made in that format that it’s not worth knocking a star off for it. Really happy with the tv.

One of The best tv's of 2024 is still great in 2025, and now much cheaper
My old hisense tv was showing its age , couldn't get bright enough , and I couldn't get the picture settings right. I had seen this tv in the local store and the picture was amazing , now the new generation is out the prices of this make it a bargain . It arrived well packaged in the box , the stand was easy to put together using just a Phillips screwdriver, setup was simple , there are many options you can use to personalise the TV picture and sound . I looked online for recommended settings , I find filmmaker to be the best for watching in the evening, but I found the normal setting to be overly warm but it was easily tweaked . I've had the TV a week now and I'm very happy with my choice . The picture in normal definition is great , it's bright , and sharp , in 4k it's stunning . The app store requires you to join the lg site to get some functionality but has the usual apps , I was surprised by the sound quality of the on board speakers , there was a surprising amount of bass . Would recommend the tv highly

Stunning picture quality
Fantastic TV, the picture on 4K is stunning and SD is very good. I had thought of getting the G5 as it is supposed to be a bit brighter but this is more than bright enough even too much in some ways especially in HDR at night time. The sound is surprising better than I had expected. I previously had a Pioneer plasma screen which had lasted 20 years and was still a very good picture. I couldn't decide whether to keep it or get the LG but I'm glad I did as the LG blows the old plasma out of the water.

Superb Oled TV
Thought i'd upgrade from my LG C2 and my word the difference in picture quality was astounding,i wasn't expecting that much of a difference but the brightness is on another level compared to my C2. Well worth the money and the seller was perfect, they answered a query i had within 12 hours and the item was delivered within the time frame given.

Paying for a guarantee!
Very pleased with the TV. But trying to activate the guarantee was a bit of con. The first month would be free but then you would have to pay monthly. Absurd!

Best LG OLED with a stand, imo
This the currently the best quality & size OLED TV from LG which comes with a stand (rather than needing wall mounting). Very happy with the purchase 🙂 worth the price and, in my experience, LG OLEDs last at least a decade before you start to see display artifacts.

Best TV you can buy in 2024
I have auditioned the Sony A95L and the LG G4 before deciding on the G4. Both give a stunning picture after calibration, but I prefer G4’s features such as four full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports and a centrally mounted tabletop stand. You cannot go wrong with this TV. My only criticism is the plastic remote control, LG needs to make a metal one with better ergonomics and a premium feel.
