A beautiful kettle
This pretty kettle is a joy to see each morning. It isn't any noisier or slower to boil than my previous kettle, but I would have bought it regardless of drawbacks simply because it's so lovely to look at, with its soft blue colour and old fashioned charm. I'm delighted!

Starting leaking less than 10 months after purchase
Nice looking kettle that unfortunately started leaking after just normal use of 10 months. Straight down to the dump. A waste of money and precious resources. Seller (KGA-SUPPLIES) refused to honour repair or replace under the Consumer Protection Act, eventually blaming me, the customer. Without any knowledge how I used or cleaned the kettle: “We see this often being reported where the kettles are not maintained and a build up of limescale builds up around the 'window' area which causes the kettle to leak. For this reason, this will negate any warranty you have on the item, but we have tried to help by asking you to get in touch with Ariete directly,[...]“ In short, the shortest lasting kettle I have ever owned. Normally, kettles break after years of use. Do not buy. And do not buy from KGA-SUPPLIES whose customer service is terrible.

Love it
Love the look of this kettle, it poors well, easy to fill and easier to keep cleaner than our old chrome kettle.

Not entirely to spec, but lovely!
The actual kettle itself is a lovely design and looks great in my kitchen, however it takes a long time to boil, even with a small amount of water in it. Also, the spec said the filter was removeable but the one I received is fixed, and it was wonky! Just a couple of small things to consider when purchasing, but the overall appearance made me keep it!
