Product speaks for itself - good for track.
I've been using this for over 6 years now, mainly in hatchbacks/wagons to gain additional visibility.I was swapping the one between cars for use on track to get better rear visibility, so after 6 years I am ordering the a 300mm dedicated to the track car.

Great for keeping an eye on the kiddos
I bought this mirror to fit in my Tesla Model S. ANyone who has driven the first gen Model S knows the rear view mirror is woefully small. With this, I can see the entire rear window, and check my blind spots by leaning a little left and right. As a bonus, I can also keep an eye on my two daughters in the back seat. The Convex nature of this mirror is what gives such a great field of view. However, the image is distorted, and makes it harder to tell exactly how far away something is. That being said, the image is very clear, there is no waviness present. After some familiarity with the image my wife and I were able to use it effectively.Because this covers up the OEM mirror and it's dimming capability, I was worried about glare from cars behind me. This hasn't been a problem at all. Because of the curvature of the mirror, everything is "shrunk" including the glare from vehicles behind at night. If you're looking for just a wider view behind you, I'd suggest one of the excellent flat mirrors Broadway makes. If you'd like to also see your little ones in the back, I recommend this convex version.

Wideview - yes please
I've always loved broadway convex wideview rear-view mirror add-ons. I and no longer concerned I won't see a vehicle in my blind spot. I feel like these should come standard on vehicles, or as an option as something more integrated. To note, the add on is not a perfect surface - the edges around the perimeter are distorted, like a fun-house mirror effect. It does not change the performance of the mirror, though, just a slight annoyance. It likely will not fit on Lexus rear-view mirrors or the like which have a button "bulge" at the bottom of the OEM mirror.

Excellent product
Excellent mirror. The stock rear view mirror in my car is completely flat, and has the problem where I can't see the entirety of the rear window. This convex mirror fixes that problem. The mirror expands the view enough that when angled to the right, I can see the entire rear window as well as the rear right passenger window. Angling to the left however just gets me a view of my face. I angle it to the right cause I'm not pretty.Another big benefit of this convex mirror is that it greatly reduces glare from cars behind you. I find that at night, I no longer need to flip the mirror downwards, as car headlights simply just aren't as bright with this mirror. Some cars with extremely bright lights are still quite annoying, but it's a vast improvement over the stock mirror.Installation is completely tool-less. You just put the upper hooks on the top of the stock mirror, pull down, and then slide the lower hooks past the bottom of the stock mirror. This mirror also isn't even that big, so it doesn't interfere with the visors too much.Side note: the product description says the origin is Japan, but that's only where the company is headquartered. The mirror is manufactured in China.

Blocks GM reading light switches. Does seem brighter than the factory mirror
The image does seem brighter than the factory mirror. Field of view is massive. I can see out my side windows too. The clamping mechanism has one side fixed and the other side extends tensioned with a strong internal spring. It can be installed with spring-tensioned arms up or down. Both sets of clamping arms are the spaced the same distance apart. Pay attention to the photos on the Amazon description. Even with the clamping arms in the down position, they block the reading light switches on my 1995 Camaro and my 2000 Corvette, so I moved the unit to my 2000 Dodge Dakota. With spring-tensioned clamping arms positioned "up" then the mirror itself blocks the GM switches. If the spring side of the clamping mechanism were spaced apart 2 inches further, then I could operate the reading light switches on my GM rear view mirror. The Broadway mirror blocks the dimming switch on my Dakota, but I don't need to access that switch anymore.

Great for clearing up blind spots
I bought by first Broadway at a car show last year. It took longer to open the box than it did to install (it has spring-loaded grippers that grab onto your existing mirror, thus it's completely removable too with no inconvenience). It really helped clear up some blind spots in the rear corners of my vehicle. Used in conjunction with two small convex mirrors on my car's wing mirrors I now can see an object/vehicle anywhere around my car in at least two mirrors at all times. When my grandmother mentioned she had a hard time with blind spots in her new car I let her borrow my Broadway to see if it helped at all. After a week she decided that it was a solution to her problem, so I grabbed one from Amazon Prime. My only issue with this mirror is that the little rubber grippers that slide over the moulded plastic to grip the stock mirror slipped off on mine. A little epoxy did the trick, but it was still slightly inconvenient. Other than that it's a great product at a very reasonable price.

The quality and build is one of the best compared to others
I've used the Broadway mirrors in almost all my cars. The quality and build is one of the best compared to others. I've had cheaper ones break and come loose over time. The stock mirrors never seem big enough and the Broadway mirror really helps you to see more around you. I have two kids in car seats in the back seat and it was hard to see them with the stock mirror. The convex mirror allows me to see them entirely which give me better piece of mind.Be sure to measure correctly as it's easy to order the wrong type/size. Be sure to look at your existing mirror to make sure the Broadway mirror can clamp on appropriately. My stock mirrors do have the homelink/garage door opener buttons and it's works fine with the Broadway mirror. You may have to adjust the mirror side to side so that the clamp isn't blocking the button but there is enough room for you fit your finger in there to push the button.

Great Product
Great mirror, clear, much larger viewing scope, brilliant for keeping an eye on the grandkids in the car!Very easy to clip on - I have used very small pieces of double sided sticky tape to super-reinforce the top clips for off reading and forest tracks - but if you’re just on paved roads all the time it should never be an issue.Make sure you get the right length mirror so the sun visors don’t snag on it! 270mm was perfect... 300mm was too big.

I can't go back to a regular mirror. Very wide angle.
Took some getting used to but I don't think I can go back to a normal mirror after this. I can see the full back seat and even my passenger side blind spot through this mirror. Of course I will still check my blind spots normally but the more vision you have on your surroundings the better and safer you are.
