They feel sturdy
These VitaPolaris (4Pack) Fiberglass 2024 Heavy-Duty Emergency Fire Blankets are nicely constructed and packaged. Heavy-duty fire blankets are the foremost defense against fire in any crisis. A grommet at the top of the red outer bag is for hanging up in the kitchen, garage, pop-up, trailer camper, or tent. They are portable and should be stowed in an emergency car kit. The instructions on the red cover are clear and easy to understand.Let's hope we never need to use these; however, they should be positioned in central locations in every household for quick retrieval. They are reusable, easily cleaned after use, and will never expire.

Provides peace of mind; hopefully never have to use
This is the kind of thing that's hard to review unless you've had the unfortunate need to use one. With there being 4 in the set, I have been tempted to create a controlled fire and sacrifice one for testing, but have not done so yet.We have a fire extinguisher just off our kitchen area that's several steps away, so I keep one of these on top of the refrigerator which is within reach of the stove/oven. I figured for smaller fires that risk getting out of control, this will cause less mess and potential damage than a fire extinguisher. So kind of a belt + suspenders type of protection. Throw this blanket over it first then run for the extinguisher in case it's needed.I also keep one in my basement lab/makerspace between my 3D printers and my electronics workbench for any errant fires that might occur there. They seem to be of good quality and they provide some peace of mind. Hopefully I'll never need them.

These fire blankets are great for fire emergencies.
I like these fire blankets because they can be used for several emergency situations such as a kitchen fire, grill fire, car engine fire, etc. The fire blankets are Class K making them useful for several types of fires. The fire blankets are made of fiberglass and are not only tear resistant but also reusable with no need to toss into garbage after use. This is a very critical item that should be in most homes.

Added Peace of Mind
I have a multi-purpose fire extinguisher in my garage for a long time. Its pressure gauge is always green, but I have always wondered if it is good when I need it to extinguish a fire. I am glad that there is never an occurrence to use it. However, that lack of confidence that it will work when I need it is bugging me.These fire blankets give me peace of mind that I have a backup if my main fire extinguisher fails. They are also easy to use, unlike the fire extinguisher, which may require some time to figure out how to use. They may be the first things that I would use in an emergency. They are made of fiberglass, which can effectively withstand high temperatures. These blankets will be hanging with my fire extinguisher.

Peace of mind
I have been wanting to get these for quite some time just to have peace of mind in the event of a small kitchen or grill fire. I have a fire extinguisher but I really like that these fire blankets are reusable. A 4 pack is such a great value for the price. I will give each of our grown and flown kids one so they can feel safer too. The 4th one I will carry in the car because you just never know when you could be faced with that type of emergency. They are made of high quality fiber glass that can withstand temperatures up to 1022 degrees Fahrenheit. They can also be hung on the wall for easy access but we will keep them under the counter with the fire extinguisher. Hopefully we will never have to use them but grateful to know they are there if we need them.

Emergency fire blanket Class K for home, kitchen, grill, car (4-pack) - fiberglass
I got these fire blankets to replace our old household fire extinguishers. We’ve never had to use the fire extinguishers, but I imagine there would be quite a mess to clean up following, say, a kitchen fire. What I like about the fire blanket is that it is quick and easy; simply pull the straps to unfurl the blanket and then drape over the flames. The fire blankets are reusable, and there is no expiry on them. This review is based on potential benefits rather than actual use of the product. Hopefully the need will never arise.

Simple but Essential Part of Home Protection
These blankets are just slightly smaller than the others and slightly less expensive. They appear to be heavy duty, and while the finishing on the edges is rough, I doubt that matters. Just be aware that this is not for a large area and will not be big enough for an adult. These would work well for a kitchen fire or uncontrolled flames on a grill. They come with a metal grommet so they can be hung up, and it is the best way to keep them handy because you deploy them by pulling on the black straps. You won't want to be fiddling with a package if you really need this blanket. I have one handy in the kitchen. The other is hanging near (but not on) our grill. The 4 stars is only because I was not comfortable rating higher without starting an actual fire. Let's hope none of us ever needs these, but they probably should be in every household.
