very sturdy
used this to repair a brick wall. I am a 67 year old woman and thought it worked very well. I also appreciate the hand guard. good quality.

Strong capable chisel
Mason chisels are by standard built to take the terrific abuse of steel hammers smashing into them repeatedly, made of high strength alloy steel. This one is built to the same base standards as the other chisels of its kind I have, and should be duller than say a wood chisel, otherwise it wouldn't survive chiseling rocks, bricks, etc. While it is not the cheapest, nor the highest quality example of its product category, it is leaning towards that direction, and does the job well.

Not for small jobs
This chisel was way too big and heavy for small jobs, like chiseling grout around kitchen tiles. It also wasn't thin enough at the tip. It would have broken my tiles! Had to return it

Excellent!
This is a beautifully made masonry chisel that is fairly priced at $13, though it was $7 when I ordered it.
