This was my first time buying this brand and I am very pleased. The feel is soft yet you can feel the strength. It isn't hard on your hands. No tangling or fraying when stitching. When using all 6 strands you get a nice fill. The strands stay together nicely. If you want to use less strands, it separates nicely,if you go slowly. I wasn't sure about the color varigation within each skein as it is different than I am accustomed to but I'm adjusting. The floss has a nice, very subtle, soft satin sheen. Almost don't notice it at first but it carries the light nicely.If you need to reorder a color, I found only two of the skeins had numbers.I will reorder this product when in need.

Color, easy use, soft, great value

Trying to match a color of thread on line is always iffy. Was extremely happy with the quality and color is perfect!

I make friendship bracelets and hair wraps and this variegated thread was better than I expected. Beautiful colors and great quality!

It was nice to make a bulk purchase of a cotton variegated floss in one colour, and for less than 50 cents per skein, this is a great value. As a side note, I wish UMC had more of their variegated colours available in these bulk packs (I could use a 12-pack of variegated yellow or gold).In a side by side comparison to a DMC brand Coloris floss (shown in photo), the UMC floss is not quite as smooth, not quite as shiny, and maybe the tiniest bit thinner. That being said, I used this floss alongside DMC floss and it would be hard to determine the difference if you weren’t already aware.I would purchase this again for more casual crafts, but I’ll remain a DMC snob for larger cross stitch projects.

Great value for the price

I was a little skeptical at first because it seemed really inexpensive for a lot of embroidery thread. I had no idea how many skeins I needed for the tassels I was making. The thread is easy to work with and great quality for the price, although now I have a lot of extra red thread.

I use a lot of black thread in my embriodary. So having a bunch of thread works great.

Just started to embroider and didn't realise how much threads etc are. These represent good value for money and the colour is strong. Will definitely buy more in other colours
