I wanted these for measuring dry ingredients for baking. I pictured them as having longer handles for scooping up flour and sugar, but the handles are rather short and a little hard to get a good grip on when reaching into a flour canister. The edges of the metal at rather sharp too. They stack up really well and each cup has a little tab opposite the handle that rests on the next larger cup so they don't fall into the bigger cup. I don't know that that is really necessary but they do stack well. I like that there is a one ounce cup in the set. That is often called a coffee scoop but occasionally you run across a recipe that calls for 1/8th of a cup. I didn't really need the measuring spoons but they are nice to have. The size of the cups is easy to know since the size is embossed into the handles.
