I struggle with intense dryness—especially when I travel to low-humidity places—and after trying countless commercial moisturizers, this is the only one that has truly repaired my skin barrier. I usually apply it twice a day, right after a shower, and then layer my favorite scented moisturizer on top. I “double moisturize” because my skin can get flaky in the winter, but if you don’t have that issue, a single layer works perfectly fine. The moisturizer itself is unscented, which is why I personally prefer adding a scented lotion over it, though that’s completely optional. It doesn’t have any weird smell, so you can just pair it with your favorite perfume instead. The texture is wonderfully rich—almost like a body butter in pump form. I recommend applying it generously wherever you need. Despite being thick, it spreads easily and doesn’t pill or form clumps the way some heavy lotions do. It’s also completely non-greasy; you just need to massage it in for a few extra seconds because of the viscosity. Once it sinks in, it stays put. My skin stays soft and smooth until my next shower, and it has genuinely helped me with strawberry legs and severe dryness. I’m already on my second bottle, and I absolutely love it. ❤️

I'm 60 and not appreciating the newly arrived crepe skin on my arms and legs at all, so I asked Grok for help choosing a product, it gave me and list the top two were ridiculously expensive but next on the list was this product, and it is reasonably priced plus I've happily been using La Roche-Posay face moisturizer for years now. So happy with my purchase! My skin looks and feels better immediately. It's scentless, very emollient but not greasy at all. You will never regret this purchase.

This helped my KP like crazy! I I have KP on my chest. This low % Urea lotion hydrates like crazy, smooths rough texture-y skin, makes ya feel like a baby again. There’s two other huge benefits alongside texture improvement: 1. it prevents folliculitis breakouts 2. no need to constantly apply this stuff everyday for it to work and keep working. just twice a week is perfect. Background on my skin type so you know if you are similar - I react poorly to manual exfoliation and salicylic acid in this area that I have KP. Doing either of those causes folliculitis breakouts (when a pore gets inflamed, raises and turns beet red, and looks like acne, but it’s not!) Benzoyl peroxide 10% wash in the shower just a couple times a week helps prevent and fade any folliculitis. When I began pairing the wash with this lotion, I experience breakouts MUCH less. And my KP looks and feels much, much better. It’s not perfect but such an improvement that I will continue to repurchase this stuff. (if you are ultra sensitive, don’t use BP on the same days as Urea, just alternate) After lots of research I bought this alongside a 12% lactic acid lotion to figure out which works best for my KP. I want to say: Lactic acid did nothing for folliculitis. It made my skin soft, it helped with the texture, however a big part of using the lactic acid was needing it daily to work and continue working. I chose this stuff in the end as a staple in my routine. If you have a similar issue as me, BP 10% wash + this stuff a couple times a week. Cheers!

This is a wonderful product if you have: dry skin, sensitive skin & rough bumpy skin. My skin is pretty dry, usually any lotion I apply will soak in but I'll feel dry a couple hours later. The back my thighs and the back of my arms are rough and bumpy... I applied this lotion ONE TIME after I got out of the shower and a couple hours later I felt my legs and the back of arms and the bumps were almost non existent! My skin felt moisturized and so soft! BUT -- it only gets 4 stars because... your skin is sticky and greasy feeling for a long time..it does not absorb into your skin immediately. I usually put sweats and long sleeve on when I apply this lotion. That is my only complaint.

If you have KP and have searched high and low, wasting a ton of money yet yielding no results, look no further! I have had KP as long as I can remember. I have tried numerous products to no avail, wasted so much money, and was pretty hopeless. I finally decided to do a deep dive into everything about KP. I wanted to learn what caused it, what got rid of it, what the most valuable ingredients were, what steps needed to be taken, etc. I finally found the solution to mine and hopefully to everyone else’s who may see this. However it is not just one product alone. I am listing the other product on here in hopes of helping those like me. I also did a review just like this one on the other product and listed La Rosay Posay Roughness Smoothing Lotion in that review. This is my go to cure that I have searched for my entire life for KP….. I purchased a bar of soap called Microdermabrasion Keratosis Pilaris, Folliculitis & Acne Exfoliating Deep Cleansing Scrub Soap. You can read my review on that product as well. When I shower or bathe, I make sure my skin is wet of course, make sure the bar of soap is wet (some say it is too abrasive), and I use the bar of soap in a circular motion all over my upper arms and upper legs. I do flip the soap over multiple times if it starts feeling too abrasive and I use it lightly, I do not push down or scrub hard. Then I rinse it off well. After I finish my shower, get out, and dry, I lather on the La Rosay Posay lotion on my upper arms and upper legs. It is creamy and thick but not greasy. It has a light feeling and my skin just soaks it up. I think it is unscented but it still has a pleasant natural scent. Like I said, I have tried so many products so after doing my research I was hopeful but not holding my breath. I woke up the next day (because I showered at night), and I was absolutely shocked to find that my KP had improved significantly, I’d say by about 60%! I literally couldn’t believe it! The second time I used the same method I saw about an 80% improvement! By the third time it was almost completely gone. I am still in shock. I am not used to rubbing my hand down my arm or leg and feeling nothing but smooth skin. I wanted to list both products on both reviews that I did because I truly feel like they complement each other 100%! I don’t think I would have these same results without using both products together. Lastly, I paid full price for both products, I am getting absolutely nothing for writing the two reviews except the hope that each person reading this will have the same results I have had simply because I know your pain and frustration. I have dealt with it for so long, I never imagined life without KP. So I truly hope that this review or the other one I wrote finds so many people with KP and helps change their lives like it has mine.

I had heard about this brand and decided to take it for a spin to see what all the hype was about. And where have you been all my life LaRoche?? PROS -cream was not thick or pasty, went on smooth, dried quick and moisturized for hours -no weird scent, quality exceeded expectations -noticed immediate improvement in my dry flaky skin, almost instantly -no marks on clothes from lotion -was able to use on face and body (for days I wa sin a rush) CONS -can't really think of any honestly OVERALL People always think "it's just lotion, what's the difference?" And while your skin is unable to tell the difference between them, you will. Especially with this brand. You know how when it's really hot outside and you get really thirsty, and when you finally get that tall glass of water filled with ice and you drink it and it's so cold you can feel it going down your throat and it feels so refreshing that you sometimes get a chill? From the water well it's like that- but for your skin. That's all I'm going to say.

I have extremely dry skin, keratosis and a little ichthyosis vulgaris. I will never be without this lotion! Though it will rid me of some my skin issues, it has helped tremendously with their appearance. Bonus: this is the first lotion I have ever tried that is NOT thick or sticky and actually absorbs into my skin. Usually, when i wake up in the morning, my skin is noticeabley dry and itchy. BUT, when i use this lotion before bed, my skin feels just like it did the night before, which i have never experienced!

I read in Reddit that urea should help KP in arms and buttocks and legs however it's been 2 weeks, I haven't seen or felt improvement. Still, I like how neutral it smells and it does feel like it's working just not as fast as I hoped. The pump action is great tho. Also, there is a bit of icky feels after freshly applying the lotion, so it takes quite a while to absorb fully (if it does at all) but I don't mind it that much. It's hydrating enough for me. Also received it earlier than the expected date but it didn't reflect accordingly in the app until days after. The consistency is also good, doesn't drip or run, but it glides easily across the skin. Update: 2 months later I've come to dislike the sticky feeling on my hands after application. It's so obvious there's a film there that I can't get rid of no matter where else I rub it off I also realized that I don't have before photos, but my arm KP has not improved much. Somehow the bumps were reduced but the discoloration is still very much dominant.

It is on the pricer side but it is 100% recommended. If you are worried about organic ingredients, Yuka rates it a 79/100 with only 3 low risk ingredients. It is soft, absorbs easily, and very hydrating. I use it for drier/worse skin, and it does wonders. I always feel clean and refreshed after. In regards to weight, 400ml can definitely be used daily (morning and night) for a couple of months, as long as you apply legs and arms. 1 pump can cover half a limb, so it is "cost-efficient" at it's premium price.
