Metal Mic Boom Arm-BM66

I've had several mic arms, including the blue microphone arm, and this is the best one I've had yet. It stays in plays, sturdy, feels durable and well made. I don't have to mess around with adjusting it constantly or anything. I just set it once and that was it. Would buy again if I had to, but I don't think I will need to for a long time.

Excellent microphone arm boom. Fantastic value compared to name brands at big box stores. Looks great. Very sturdy and stiff construction, and a decent mounting system. I liked this model so much that I bought another one for my other child also. Adjusting the arm is a breeze. It offers a good range of positions. Installation was very easy and within minutes, we were using the mic on this boom arm.

Been using this stand for a while now, and honestly? It’s pretty solid. Setup was easy: just had to secure it to the side of my desk with a clamp, and done. The hold on the microphone is good. Nothing special. And for a product this cheap, it has an amazing range of motion, but it might be hard to get used to. The way they handled cable management was also really nice and clean, hiding the cable under the plates that cover the arms, only making the cable visible at the joints. I love it!

It's a little stiff but not so stiff that it's a problem. If you have arthritis or poor strength when lifting your arm above your shoulder then don't buy this. I also wish the mount were a bit more robust. It holds the arm up just fine but whenever you move the arm around you can tell it feels a bit loose on the mount, even though the mount itself is fastened down tight. Regardless, it never feels like it's actually going to fall off the mount. I like how it keeps the mic pretty close to parallel with the ground as you articulate the arm up and down. If you frequently move the arm from high to low or vice versa then you don't have to worry about adjusting the angle of the mic whenever you do.

Very sturdy, stays in place, and even has a channel to hide the cable. This is really important for me since my cat loves to chew on cables.

Amazing. It is quiet and moves smoothly. I modified it to go onto a tv mount for more flexibility. Holds up an mv7 just fine..

These are so worth the money and more. They are way more heavy duty than you would expect and they come in at half the price if the Rode. Movement is super solid and it’s made to last. 10/10 would recommend

PRO: This was good for it's price in comparison to other industry standard brands and the cable piping is really useful. CON: The 360 degree spinning base not as smooth as I would have liked it to be; it is a little wobbly. However, the clamp at the base is pretty sturdy, as is the mic arm.
