Wish I would have read reviews first... this is not the right foam density and is too firm making it extremely difficult or even impossible to install. Not what it should be, not what I expected. Do not buy this.

I bought this product as a replacement because I ripped the original one on my Jeep. I was a little hesitant to buy it noting how many people complained that it was really stiff (and it was) but I was able to get mine in. My wife watched me struggle for a good half hour before she suggested I soak the foam in hot water. I boiled some water in a pan and let the insert sit for about 2 minutes by holding it under water with a kettlebell. This made the insert SUPER malleable. I had the cross member loosened, so I was able to sag the transmission, but the insert literally popped in. I think if I would have tried soaking it in hot water before letting the transmission sag, I would have been able to get it in. If you soak the insert, getting the insert in is a breeze. I checked on the foam after a few days and noticed that it had dried up and returned to its original hardness. It hasn’t given me any issues so I’m happy with the purchase.

This cabin gasket is made of the wrong material. Needs to be somewhat compressible for installation. This one is very hard. Not useable.

Works well good replacement

Its to hard to put in, it's suposed to be dense foam not hard plastic. Wasn't happylooking to get one from dealership.
