Danish Design Cleo The Caterpillar Large Plush Puppy/Dog Rope Toy

This is a lovely toy but I have to concur with the other reviews complaining about the quality, it simply isn't puppy proof. My whippet puppy doesn't destroy most toys but this one started getting tears and spilling out its foam and the felt used to cover the main sections of the toy immediately. It's a poor choice of materials and design - a shame because it could actually be a really nice toy and my dog loved it! I have now binned it after a week of play as was unsalvageable. Would honestly rather pay 20 pounds for it and have it as something that is good quality, enduring and lasts.

I purchased this caterpillar about 4 years ago and it lasted for 4 years without damage from my dog a lassa apso, until the last 6 months. Unfortunately my replacement is not as hardy and lost a leg within a week and has fluff escaping from areas my dog has pearsed in the material. One caterpillar had two, two inch long holes in the seams when it arrived. I'm glad I purchased two caterpillars as the other arrived with no damage. However, this is caterpillar is and always is my dog's very favourite toy. He would be heart broken if they were discontinued.

It is described as having multiple squeakers, it has none, just a grunty thing in head and bell you can hardly hear in tail. Stitching is terrible and one antenna fell off straight away. There's glue at the end of the ropes attaching the feet so they won't last long. I've bought better quality toys at the pound shop.

This item is not worth the money.Stitching came open in less than two hr.not a cheap toy.seller did not want to know.

It's a lovely toy but didn't survive too long after being played with by my BoxerxStaffy for a couple of hours.

My dog's (black lab) favourite toy he plays with it all the time.

It's a lovely big, soft toy, bright and colourful, and my boy loves playing with it. It feels nice and rugged too so I'm sure it'll last years..

Really lovely looking caterpillar, great colours but sadly my retriever bit into the head in less than a minute. Would suit a non chewing dog who would just like to snuggle up to it.
